nothing att all is wrong with the fats but too much cannot be good

Yeah but depending on your dietary needs, size of eggs and other fat sources, it's not that big of a deal. Personally, I don't go over 6. It's hard to say with athletes (especially BBers) as there is f*ck all research done on guys really killing themselves and that's why there's a lot of trial and error for every one.

Don't waste your parents food c*nt

I easily go up to 20-25 eggs in a day when I'm bulking... that is, until I get sick of eating eggs and move on to something else. :)

Wasting food is a crime in my books!

Shoulders & Triceps today

I didn't muck around this morning at all. I felt like a tank and didn't rest more than 30 seconds ever.

Shoulders

Hammer Strength Press

Worked up to 3 plates per side - 3 sets: 12,10,8

I got a bit greedy after the first set, all I could think was "that was light!"... so I put on a fourth plate per side... after sitting down for a few seconds I thought the better of it and took it off... what's the point of getting maybe 3-5 reps when my shoulder has only just come 100% (apart from when I do rear delt work).

Dumbbell press

34kg 12,10, 8 drop-setted from here 30,26,22...14,10,6kg right down to the weight where I started a Dumbbell Lateral Raise Giant Set.

Dumbbell Lateral Raise Giant Set (thanks Ronnie - u da man)

6,8,10,12,14,16kg 25-10 reps

Olympic Bar Front Raises

3 sets of 20,15,12

Bent Over Dumbbell Raises

10kg 3 sets of 30

Triceps

Smith Machine Close-grip bench press

Worked up to 70kg in plates on it for 20 reps, did 3 sets 20,15,12. Then inbetween stripping the plates off I did sets using 60,50,30kg of about 30 reps per set.

Incline bench Single-Arm Triceps Extension

20,16,12kg 20 reps pushed to failure using negatives

Bodyweight dips to finish off

3 sets 15-8 slowly done and held statics some reps.

That's it folks.

Oh and I met up with Khalid yesterday... poor bugger had a problem with his bicep (sorta like Jay cutler at the olympia) so he decided not to do the nzifbb nats... and he's got a hernia to boot. sucks eh

It's time to put a plan down in writing.

I've decided that I'm going to bulk up to 100kg by June 1st next year. Then I'll do a cut and compete in one of the NZIFBB comps around October next year. I plan to compete in the 90-100kg weight class.

Also, I'm simplifying my routine to this:

Day 1 - Workout A: Chest, Biceps, Forearms, Abs

Day 1 - Workout B: Back, Hamstrings, Calves

Day 2 - Rest

Day 3 - Workout A: Shoulders, Triceps

Day 3 - Workout B: Quads, Glutes, Abs

Day 4 - Rest

REPEAT

I'll stick to that routine until I start my cut.

And I ain't gonna do this half assed - it's all or nothing! And it's gonna be all.

Nice bro!

Once you make that decision to compete then everything you do in the gym and everything you eat starts to revolve around that goal.

I think you should consider competing in NABBA WFF. The height classes as opposed to weight might suit you better. Just something to think about

I will consider that... I had actually written NABBA WFF when writing up the message above but then change it right before I pressed Submit. Okay - I'll have a good think about it... maybe do both. :)

Cheers mate

NABBA WFF is definately the best put together and run frderation IMO. the one show format is also very beneficial. after seeing the NZIFBB nats the other day i think their quality of competitors is definately the greatest from juniours all the way to open mens..same goes for the ladies. only thing is the crowds are about all of 100 people. at the end of the day i guess its just what you prefer..also moe sent a couple of people to the arnold amateurs which is pretty cool. good luck

Thanks trainlikeafreak. That is interesting... I went to watch the NABBA WFF this year (the first bbing show I've actually gone to see). One thing I noted was the size of the audience... I'd have thought NZIFBB shows would be bigger!

Did Quads straight after work

Leg Extensions

Worked up to half-stack for about 20 reps

Squats

140kg x 5 x 5

Leg press

2pps 20

3pps 30

4pps 40

5pps 50 There was a bit of rest-pause from here onwards

6pps 60

7pps 70

Front Squats

85kg 15

Trained Chest, Biceps, & Forearms this morning

Flat bench press

100kg 27, 17

80kg 23, 13

Incline Dumbbell Press

40kg 8,7

35kg 10,8 drop-setted 30,25,20kg 8-20

Incline Dumbbell Flyes

15kg 7 sets of 15

EZ-curl Bicep Curls

Bar 10

20kg 20

30kg 30

40kg 40 Almost got there in one set. When I do it'll be 50kgx50

30kg 30

20kg 20

Bar 10

Hammer Curls

25,20,15,10kg two sets of 15 for each

Then I did some sit-ups and stretching. Left leg's hamstrings tight as hell.

I didn't do Harry's 21's with 100kg! Would have been okay on the first set... at least I know I can still do more than 21 reps on 100kg Flat Bench. :)

Today when I was working out this fella, who's quite a regular gym goer, didn't put his dumbbell back on the rack after doing a set of overhead extensions. The dumbbell was left about 10 meters away from where it belonged on the rack! I was thinking "man, what a lazy bugger!", so I kept an eye on him after that and then a few minutes later after he was finished doing EZ-bar French Press he returned his weights to the area where they're hung... but he didn't hang them up... he just tossed them on the ground!

At this point, I was like "WTF?!?".

Then he started doing standing dumbbell overhead extensions - with a clear view of the mess he'd created. So I decided to do a 1-up on him. I walked over to the 50kg dumbbell he'd left lying on the floor and picked it up and walked the 10 metres to the rack and put it on... doing it very obviously so that he'd see. I saw he noticed, so I gave him a wink (lol!). Then I picked up the plates from his french pressing and hung them up as well.

I bet he felt like a douche. Further reading

Good on ya, need more people like you around  You wouldn't survive at the Otago uni gym :pfft: There's 3 DB racks, about 60 or so DBs all up. At any one time, I don't think I've ever seen more than half of them on the rack. It's ridiculous, can't wait to get out of there.

Great effort on the bench too, 27 reps at 100 is insane

Did Back this arvo

Wide-Grip Chin-ups

BW-70kg 15

BW-60kg 15

...

BW-10kg 15

BW 5,5

Shit that was hard! I haven't done these for ages. Gonna be a staple for a while. I love this exercise!

On all the rowing I held the contraction for 1-2 seconds

Barbell Row Overhand-Grip

100kg 3 x 15-8

Barbell Row Underhand-Grip

80kg 3 x 13-10

Dumbbell Row

50kg 10,10

35kg 15,15

Independant Arm Machine Lat Pulldowns

85lbs seven sets of 15 reps

Sat facing away the machine and brought my arms down into a back double biceps pose (that's what I was aiming for).

I didn't have time to do Hamstrings and Calves today, the gym was closing. I was completely shot after all the above anyhow. Next back workout I will do deadlifts and go straight into hamstring work then back to upper back work. And I'll make sure I do calves hard.

how convenient, did u get that made to order or was it just hanging in a shop...do you think they'll have one with "Android" on it ...? LOL

You might start a trend of members getting T's with their NZBB handle on the back....Pseudo I'm surprised you never thought of this as a spin-off. A webpage that we go to on your site that shows a T'Shirt with our handle on the back and a big "ORDER NOW" button. I Declare War would of been your first customer

lol, made to order bro. you're shit out of luck.... although, I'm sure you'll find a tshirt with "Android" on it on ebay... probably with one of them little green robots on it. Here ya go.

140.jpg

maybe u can do some freelance work and set that feature up for Pseudo. 8)

Although, I don't think most other member's usernames would have the same effect on a t-shirt... the name I've chosen is a statement about my attitude to training... amps me up and keeps me focused.
