Sweet. Yeah bro i beat him aye, i was stoaked. Told him he aint best in n.z anymore:) (not saying i am, but we all know that he definately isnt now lol) Him and the guy in my club kicked my arse bout 2 years ago, thats when i first realised what "proper" armwrestling was. I just wrestled in pubs n stuff up till then. i flew to wellington bcoz they both lived there and i armwrestled them. Now i only armwrestle on my tables just to keep things safe, ill have the odd battle ova the bar but not often:)

sweet man so kean,i havnt been training for the 2 years:) just learnt ALOT while getting the beat down by the SA and came back a little stronger:) enough to win anyways:) we have been training solid for about 6 months. sometimes when your opponent is significantly stronger in every way with some knowledge of armwreslting technique, they will dominate out of pure strength, im hoping thats what u guys to to us :) you guys will have the power and size and we will hopefully have the technique :) should be a flippen Blast either way man! :) im just starting to concentrate on building my muscle mass and strength at the moment so am looking forward to seeing how far away i am from you guys power wise. man u were doing some seriously heavy Gripper work! myt break my flippen hand bro! :)

Keep in touch bro bout making it to Hams, to Te Awamutu, which eva is easier for you because my brother will be moving to T.A soon i think.

Just want to quizz you experts. Was talking to a guy today about arm wrestling. Seems like hes been quite active here in CHC. Hes an older tall well built guy, truckdriver. His technique that he says has never failed him is to turn the oponents wrist towards you & pull the arm as close to your body as possible then apply body weight leverage over top of the arm. It sounds like the mechanics of this is sound but interested to hear what you guys have to say. I questioned the legality of this but he says there is no problem as long as the elbow does not leave the table & at least one foot is on the floor at all times.

its on the topside of bicep goin into the inside of the elbow, it doesnt always bug me just every now n then and wen it hurts just a lil bit shes ova for me i cant du nada with that arm , i actually should try exercising it in make it stronger otherwise thats a weakness there lol, wish i culd just come up now, but man just join gym last week and my body is broken haha lol all muscles are sore as not use to it yet, my profile pic is of last year november wen i was 110kg at my strongest, now im 98kg and not very strong at the moment but give my 4 to 6 months and ill be bak to my strongest agin, but i wna practice with yous and get my technique sused and learn ,train and practice other styles aswell

thats 5 people i know thats undefeated, im always keen to have a go with anyone

Haha I'm not undefeated, just on a streak right now. My last loss was to a trucky in Aussie. I'm in Wgtn. If you are ever here send me a PM.

Dave-Hey bro, there is a trucky in Wellington, name is Andre du plessis (i think thats his last name). He is the ex South African national champoin (legit) came 13th in the worlds in 2006, held the SA title for i think 5 years, both hands.weighs 110kg, if u want a good match try find him and he will be kean :) does alot of pub armwrestles in Wellington. he came all the way to Auckland just to armwrestle me, he self-titled himself best in nz and wanted to make sure that he still was. His mate that came 4th in the British Nationals is in my club.

MF- 220kg? omg thats an Ox of a man?!!! hes in his own weight division! :) 190kg?! geez u must know the biggest guys in the country! lol so mean u smoke them all! bro u gotta try make Hamilton sometime and come with my Brother.:)

Interesting mate cheers for that. Probably a mismatch in his favour though, but would be an interesting experience.

Also weight isn't always that important, one of my toughest matches, was versus a 80kg builder. Short and stocky but very powerful. He would take out many guys 120kg+. Risk of injury like others have mentioned, is why he doesn't do it much.

how many seconds is the average arm wrestling match?

and so really... size of arm bicep/tricep has nothing to do with armwrestling like most people think?? is that correct?

from what iv seen arm wrestlings can take from less than a second to upto a min or so, most of them are usually under 30secs.

size of arm or more importantly the power and strength in the arm does have alot to do with it thats if you can apply it to your arm wrestling technique.

technique 1st muscles 2nd lol
