Would NATE like a box of tissues.

Not everyone gets a sore back even doing 10 sets.

Lifting a weight you can only get a couple of reps is different story.

LOL - let's see the video Champ! Keen to see you do 10 good sets of 10 with a real weight buddy! :nod:

Using my example of 200kg, I could do maybe 2 sets of 10, then down to 180 for a few, then 150, 120 etc...

But doing 10x10 with 200 no fucken way! My lower back would explode!

And while you're grabbing the tissues and worrying if my lower back is strong enough it might pay to consider I placed 2nd in both Sydney's Strongest Man & Oz Strongman Nationals in the partial DL event.... so I'm sure my lower back is not too weak... :pfft: :grin:

Maybe a misunderstanding, if we said dropsets 10x10 on squats its definately doable. :nod:

Any reason for the depth, Nate? Just wondering. It's not that you're afraid ov a bit ov hard work is it? :pfft:

LOL - yeah always running from hard work! :pfft:

Truthfully I haven't been doing a lot of comp depth stuff since the adductor tear/hernia, other than high bar narrow squats on the giant cambered bar. Only did as a finishing exercise up to 140x10's. Other than that some medium box paused stuff, probably only to parallel.

As for the hack squat in question (Fitness Works?), its actually set up for reverse hacks for the rugby boys. The angle of the plate is pretty aweful and it tears up your knees pretty bad. No one goes near comp depth on it & Nickoli is the only one who get near parallel that I've seen, even with moderate weights. It's definately not comparable to a Polaris Hack or anything.

No excuse brother, they were what they were. My legs are so fucken trashed today I call it a win! :nod:
