Cool article! Gotta try another round of IF again! Its funny how he finds it easier to not eat till after his workout, I find it SOOO hard not to eat, im hungry every 3rd or fouth hour at the most.

Would be interested to know who finds IF or even general fasting easy and who finds it hard...

I used 14-16 hour fasts leading up to and over last summer and found it really comfortable while dropping a bit of weight. However, I wasn't totally consistent as my work times change with the tide and it's a physical job, so starting at 7am and not eating until 1-2 wasn't very appealing to me :shifty:

I've been fasting again for the last month or so, this time in a lean bulking phase and I'm loving it. Again feels very comfortable. I'm not even hungry when I have my first meal around 1-2pm, but once I've eaten something my appetite spikes right up for the rest of the day. I've always been this way, and that's why I could never diet down on 6+ meals a day. Having a small meal just seems to tease my body and make it scream out for more food. I much prefer a feast then fast method of eating.

i have been doing leangains IF for about a year now and dont think ill ever stop. makes dieting easy, and also it is great for bulking - i have never been able to bulk for 6 months straight and still be able to see my abs but this has happened with IF

I totally agree that the small meal thing just sparks my appetite too.

Thats fkn cool!

I'm not 100% sold about how protein should be fasted Especially for the bigger guys but ive found a happy medium of 3-4 meals a day.

after this last IF article considering 3 meals a day with carbs in the arvo
