Thought I would put start up a journal so I have a record of things to track my progress. Not sure how long ill keep it up to date but will do my best.

Current body weight : 89.4kg

Height : 6ft

BF : Roughly 14%

Lifts

Bench 1rm 122kgs

Squats 1rm not sure but 100kg atg x 10 reps, will update on thursday

Deads Barely do deads at all because of a lower back injury few months back 115kg x6

Goals?

Bigger faster stronger? lol. Bench by xmas want to be hitting the 140kg mark, Squats think I will be happy atm if I can hit 130kg x 10

Havent trained in 2 weeks due to being sick, ate virtually nothing at all for the first week so was dreading jumping on the scales, annoyed I dropped under the 90kg mark but I had only lost just over a kilo so not as bad as I had expected.

With that small intro over time to log my first workout.

Big entry number 1!!

As above first session back after 2 weeks of being sick, so a lightish session to get back into it.

Chest / Tris

FLAT BENCH

15 x 45kg

10 x 60kg

10 x 75kg

8 x 87kg

8 x 87kg

6 x 87kg (slight assistance from spotter)

8 x 65kg

9 x 50kg Pushed for 10 but had nothing left in the tank

DUMBBELL FLIES

6 x 20kg

8 x 20kg

8 x 20kg

DIPS

BW x 20

BW x 10 (sad effort)

BW x 10

TRICEP PULLDOWNS

10 x ? unsure of weight

Training partner had to bail due to his sick kid so I cut it short. Loss of strength and stamina after having time off was a little disappointing but was to be expected since im still not feeling 100%.

Hey pyro, good stuff doing a journal its a good way to keep motivated and keep track of training.

If you want to hit 140kg on benchpress by the end of the year,

You should push heavier weights and do less sets.

Try 80kg x 8 reps,90kg x 6 reps and 100kg x 4-6 reps.

Or somthing like that?depending on your strength.

Good luck man,

Go hard.

:D
