nah he looked like average joe to be honest. he was well covered up though iv seen him strolling down the street with a tight t shirt on and he looked tank as f*ck. top bloke iv said giday to him twice now \:D/ next time i might even man up and ask him how his days goin :shifty:

Really? That's quite good. Although, most people are usually at a higher bf % than what they say. Makes me feel quite good though because mine are 23 inches. :D Which shows does he usually compete in?

Doesn't look too big in his clothes I reckon, tight or not. But I haven't seen him in off season. As you all can see, I was a fat f*ck hahaha

Very nice on 23". But I just don't think they will be that size if you get deep cut / striations like him. Nonetheless though mate, VERY impressive... Jealous as actually. Wish I trained mine at your age. Benchpress all the way babyyyyyyy 8) :lol:

EDIT: NZFBB bro, I'm not sure if he's competing this year or not, maybe if he wants to go to the world's he has to? Unless someone can confirm this..

Hahaha. My legs are shredded at the moment, and will get way more shredded. Hoping I can get on stage with 21.5 inch legs 'cause there's so much fat on my hammies. I'm probably at about 11% now, but that's just an estimate. hahahaha, bloody fat guys, eh. I'd say you were lower than 7.3% though.

i dont know daniel, but i do know that people needa wake the f*ck up. organic food, so you have spent a month with him seen his fridge/pantry and seen what he eats? no u havnt, and even if you did spend a month with him u would be creeping around his bum hole not watching what he eats would u! one of my good mates in chch who also won numerous nz titles saw him at the movies eating popcorn weeks out from a comp.

And about the benchpress, really? Maybe because they use the power lifting rules. I am good friends with Peter Hunt's son and when I told him he told me "Yeah but I bet you don't pause." and I don't lol. I have been pausing with my work in this journal, the pump is insane and I am slowly going to work my way up. I've always found pushing movements my strong points. My dead lift and squat ratio are pathetic compared to the bench :lol:

SUAS: Nice! Can't wait to see the pics, post some 1 day for the comp bro, would be epic. I have a strong feeling you will do 'pretty well' in the teenage catagory. Who has bigger legs, you or Peter? I might post up some pics the day before the comp or the day after from the comp.

Pete's legs are bigger, but mum thinks that my legs are bigger than what his were last year haha. He was 21 then haha. I think it's just because they're a lot more shredded than what his even were at the comp.

That'd suck if you lost to me, although I doubt that would happen due to your fucking thin waist making everything else pop... asshole hahahaha.

SUAS: Yeah bro, it's all about the cuts.. Like, I doubt the judges even give a shit about symmetry and balance.. No disrespect to Daniel, but I think Sanjeev had better symmetry and balance.. Just his hamstrings and calves needed work which probably cost him. Again, that's MY OPINION. Could be TOTALLY wrong.

But 9 times out of 10 these competitions are about who is more shredded.. Kinda bullshit in a way.. I'm not saying you should rock up fat as f*ck, but if someone JUST has conditioning over you and wins.. That's kinda lame. But if that's what they want, so be it.. No use crying about it. You never know man... You sort your posing and condition, would be quite a challenge. You got enough mass (I mean always can get more) and you seem real balanced. Lol at my waist. Feelsgoodman.

Thanks mate! It's not as slow as you saw me do the incline, that was snail styles lol. Yeah I always thought pausing at the bottom would sort of make it easier wouldn't it? :-s - I think what's giving me the good burn is when I bring it down slowly. Lol you always crack me up. Cuppa tea haha.

I think they care about symmetry just not proportion. Most guys upper bodies crush their lower half and they still beat the guys with bigger legs. It's pretty bullshit.

I won't be able to come into peak condition at my comp this year because I have a PE kayaking trip in the Marlborough sounds on the 26th of September and get back on the 30th at about 10pm... which is literally 12 hours before I get on stage. So I'll have to be stocking up on carbs on the trip because I'll be using them all doing kayaking. So it's pretty lame knowing that I won't look my best haha. But I've got hammy striations coming through now so even if I'm not my best, I think I'll still look good.

TWL: Thanks bro! I STILL can't believe no one on her can do that... Bro back in 09 before my first contest (when I was 85) I did 130kg 1 rep max. I will have to post a video after my strength training phase is over. I feel the need to prove myself since it seems a bit unrealistic to some :huh: - I will though! :grin: - Does standing shoulder pressing the barbell over your body weight count as strong too? lol :pfft:

Hahahaha. yeah, I think it will be bread and salami mostly. Whatever they give me. But if I can win in non-peak condition, I could be even happier for that fact. It'll strip off easily, hopefully my back will get bigger or something because at last years bike trip my legs got half a cm bigger hahahaha.

Just been going over some of my posts, sorry in advance about my grammar and wrong words.. Don't know what's going on in my head lol.

Day 8, Back.

-Deadlifts

So I trained in the afternoon today, must admit.. Energy is great during this time since I've had more than one meal. However, it's quite busy and a lot of chit chat goes on which I dislike.

Deadlifts, what can I say? I'm not a strong person in this department so I was really stoked. Can tell the gym owner was hating since it makes a lot of noise. I think I am the only one that literally deadlifts in my gym so it makes quite a scene. My grip was real good during this time.

Pull ups, Awesome! Loved it.. Vascularity was off the chain and everyone was staring and some would make lame comments about the amount of weight coming up with me. I felt my form was terrific and was stoked to pull that much at my body weight. I am 69.9 at as of this morning lol. Close grip pull ups were always easy so I was flying through those.

Lat pull down, not baaaaaad.. But I want real heavy weight. I put my legs out wide like a sumo squat just so they're not tucked under that thing, I feel most people will use it to do their repetitions and that's cheating :naughty: - So this exercise was tough, but it's great too because it really targets the lats (no shit.. :doh: ) but what I mean is, if you do it properly with the right amount of weight, you won't swing and just isolate them lats 8)

Rack chins, this exercise felt as tough or as light as last week really lol. Like adding 10kg's didn't make a difference to the difficulty :-s I'll definitely add some more weight. Or perhaps because I felt a lot more energised by coming in the afternoon.. Hmmm :think:

All my rowing exercises basically stayed around the same because I wanted to master my muscle connection to achieve that thickness that I lack in my back. To be honest felt quite good.. But I guess we'll only know when I compete next whether my efforts were in vain or not :lol:

Again, not a bad workout! Let's hope all my days are like this with no 'shit workouts' :grin: - Simply don't have the time for those! I still prefer to train in the mornings, but with uni and other obligations I simply couldn't today. My theory is, if I go after breakfast, I could use my other meals as recovery, rather than say to provide me with energy.. In a weird and stupid way, I feel like today is a beat of a cheat since I know in the morning my workouts aren't as fueled.. But I guess this comes down to an ego or pride mentality I have.. SPEAKING of cheating.. :oops: had some mad coconut chocolate bars man, fuckin were good!! The whittikar ones? Who tried those? I ain't a chocolate fan but I will soon become one if I don't watch my back :lol:..

But nah, you gotta live a little. With this whole reverse dieting, it sorta makes think like.. Is it really worth watching what I eat 24/7? I just came out from a 8 month diet.. Like sure I should be strict but if I felt like a lil snack here or there why not.. After all, it is my off season and I won't be competing in a LONG LONG time.. LOL. Any excuses to make myself feel better, right NZBB? :wink: :pfft:

Off to a restaurant tomorrow with the family, haven't had those in a long time.. Was going to turn it down but thought it would be a good idea if all of us went in good memory of my grandma :nod:

Morning all!

Just had a good arm workout, cut down the rest time too so I was out just under 1 and a half hours lol! Still quite long for an arm day, but to be honest I really don't pay attention to time. :pfft: - Cut out some sets so I was doing around 18 sets instead of 20ish or so.. But todays pump was alot better than last week! So let's hope I get some growth on these string for arms :pray: - On a side note, my weight is 69 and will check every week Wednesday! Measurements are all the same except my quads... Grown :) So happy! :grin: - Still pissed that my back (lats) over powers and makes it look like I have no legs :( .. That's when I spread though!

Don't really feel like going to uni today, just one of those days ya know? I won't make a habit out of it though.. :shifty: Anyway....

Day 9, Arms.

-Cable curls

* 3x12 48kg

-Standing reverse grip curls (EZ bar)

*3x12 32.5kg

-Standing close grip curls (EZ bar)

*5x5 37.5kg

-Standing wide grip curls (EZ bar)

*5x5 37.5kg

-Reverse preacher single arm curl

*3x5 15kg

Awesome bicep pump.. Was quick, felt the muscle contract more than last time.. I think I am finally getting the hang of this :nod: Hopefully the results will speak up when it's time to compete again! First thing is first though, let's find out if they grow or not using that tape measure! :pfft:

-Tricep push down

*3x15 78kg

-Skull crushers

*3x12 35kg

-Over head tricep DB extension

*3x12 27.5kg

-Dips on the squat rack :pfft:

*3x15 40kg

-Rope pulldown

*3x12 40kg

Tricep workout was even better than the bicep! I dropped the weight back again.. I just feel more of a burn this way and the pump was awesome, not to mention my form was a lot better during the skull crushers and the over head tricep db extension.. Kept my elbows in and just isolated the triceps, didn't feel my chest working like last time so that's a good thing I guess. Will increase the weight slowly each week from this point! :nod: The dips were still easy even after a 20kg increase since last time. I guess the parallel dips I do for chest day are just so much harder so it makes this one that much easier, will try 50kg's next time and see how that makes me feel.

NOT a bad workout.. BUT.. I feel like I could have done a lot better.. Good pump, but let's just say not 100% effort :naughty: tsk tsk.. Come on Loochi, focus! :evil:

Going out tonight with the family for a feed at the restaurant. Will be a good break since I haven't had one after my competition.. But also a nice way to fuel my intensity tonight for some more squats \:D/ - Honestly I just can't keep my mind off doing a 4 plate squat.. You know when you have something on your mind constantly, you just know eventually you'll achieve it? I just want to go all the way downnnn pause for that one second and just launch up like an Iraqi missle :lol: feel me? lol jkz jkz...

Hopefully maintain this sorta condition for a while so next time I diet down, I will reach elite levels of conditioning!!!!!!!!!
