Hey i'm entering the Wellington comp bikini class and wondering if anyone has any info about it? ie i heard there is an evening dress round? Any particular poses that are required?

Any info at all would be super helpful!

Well I'll see you there then. I'll be in the teens. Unfortunately I can't be of help so I guess the only help I can give you is to try research it (until someone actually says something) or maybe try search your area for someone who has entered before. You'd be suprised at how many people there are.

It's a bit hard to find any information out about this comp. The NZIFBB website doesn't even list it. :roll:

However, they do have the rules for each of the classes, including Bikini (at the bottom of the page). Hopefully that can help you Lynz.

they didn't have an evening dress round last year at the comp just walk out do a few hands on hip poses in your bikini and that was it who ever had the nicest ass wins :wink:

Thats lovely no info about the show a bunch of people I know including myself are getting ready for. Imagine my feelings of confidence in the show actually happening. I might as well go to auks and just eat burgers with Tom.

i wouldnt be worried about the show not going ahead i would be more worried about a last minute date change fuking up your flight and accomodation plans

That's all the information I have. Got it off Go Figure. But that is the date change so I think that's final. Really annoying that there's shit all information on it

Yeah, Muscle Imaging has the same date listed too - but again, no more info available.

Spoke to a PT at LM Extreme who's an NZIFBB competitor, she said:

If you dig hard at the NZIFBB website, there's a poster that has those dates on it, but no indication as to what classes are available.

I have heard that the Waikato show isn't going ahead anymore, no one has put their hand up to run it.

Looks like if I want to make NZFBB nationals this year I might have to do this show too. Not too keen as I already know Philly Nuku, Byron Peach and HarryB will be doing my class and who knows who else will turn up for the open 90+

Might just have to do Nabba/WFF this year :?

also,do they still claim random drug testing,if not then probably no benefit than doing a nabba show which might be closer but full of beasts.

Heard Phil might not be doing it after all he's growing and doesn't want to interrupt that for a show but u neva know it's 2nd hand 2 week old news.

Nellie is doing NABBA-WFF he has freaky huge legs and a Pro-like top half, will b in the 100+ class. he'll b the standout if he comes in good condition imo for that Fed.

I think it would be quite good to win the teen category and step on stage with all the big guys overall or in other words \:D/

Having being bitten by the Moe regime I may be a little bias but I would suggest you do a NABBA/WFF event where Glamor Class is running. Same thing as NZIFBB but you will be well informed and looked after.

I had Hamilton on my list will go talk to Moe c if it's still on. Shud b Grant is down that way to support it I would have thought Pros cared about the amateurs ay. Look forward to catching up if u wanna train b4 PM me am up for it. Never know I might sneak under 100 if it means leaner without loss of muscle of course. B a great event standing up against u guys always more memorable surrounded by people u know and respect.

NABBA-WFF... hmmm everyone's jumping ship just cause they don't like current state of things. TBH that's fair but I don't know who Mr Universe is or was I follow Olympia so it's IFBB for me.

Unfortunately that current state has proven they don't care about the athletes. Hence the reason for people jumping ship.

On a brighter note, good luck for your comps this year Android will be good to see the progress you have made after some time off. :nod:
