what should i eat if i want to gain muscle and lose fat?

hey are there any people out there that can tell me what they have to eat on a regular basis that helps them get bulked up and lose fat? im 15 and i go to the gym around 4-5 days a week for about 1 hour + can anyone help ? i just want to know what i would be able to eat for breakfast , lunch and tea . and would i be aloud to have takeaways once in a while ?

you can eat anything IIFYM!

but on a serious note I like to do a 40%p/40c/20f macro (remember you should eat fat to lose fat....healthy fat that is)

also as far as I know you can't really gain muscle and lose fat at the same time...it's one or the other depending on what you want to have as your goal

:naughty: You cannot bulk and not gain some % of fat... choose one Goal and stick to it for some period till you can see the desired results...good luck

I think low GI carbs are key in your situation. Also perhaps you should take some creatine supplements depending on your goals. Of course natural foods like steak are the best creatine sources, but supplements may be convenient because you can consumer 30g of protein without too many additional carbs or fats.

I also started at 15 and took a while to realise, you need to either A. Bulk (grow muscle) or B. Cut (get leaner), some people can do both at the same time but have such minimal changes that just aren't worth it.

As others have said, what are your current stats? E.g. height, weight, body fat % (your gym should have calipers)

You want to have around 6 small meals a day, cheat meals every once in a while is all right but would be better if say you get 1 takeaway meal say once every few weeks. Pretty much you need to suss your goal of either bulking or cutting and then adapt a diet for your needs.

Personally I am bulking until end of September then going on a cut so my BF % will be ideal for summer.
