Sissy Squats

I sometimes put in a few sets after squats, leg press & DB lunges. IMO they work very well once the quads are fatigued, you can feel the quads really straining right up near the hips/lower abs.

After a few workouts the quads seem to adapt and you don't feel them stretching during the sissy squats anymore, so I drop them and do leg ext'ns instead.

Not really the same muscular involvement, but good enough substitutes for each other.

Hahaha! You slowly lower yourself down, trying to take as much weight as possible through your hands on your knees. But eventually the weight gets too far back, and you have to let yourself drop the rest of the way. Yep, I know that feeling! :D
