Sup guys, how's it going?

Sorry to post so soon... Can't help it, but let me know if it gets annoying.

I am now 68.6 kg's and 7.3% body fat - as of today!! I am 17 weeks out and finally had a shave...

Today was meant to be a leg train but I was just mentally drained and had a long night yesterday catching up with a mate since he had to go to Dubai and won't see him for a while, but I did a 'stupid / immature squat video' lol :P - wasn't too bad, never tried the high reps but I managed to do 21reps of 100 kg's (before I thought my form may suffer. Wanted to do 30) then I did 19 of 60kgs (I thought I did 20..?) but yeah.. so 40reps all up..

one thing that FUCKED ME OFFwas my friend paused after my 21 reps.. so it looks like im frauden :( but i would never do that.. But if it's not enough proof for ya, I will try this squat style again in another kg loss ;)

So I am happy with how I am feeling, energy wise... And I finally have striated glutes... But still not to my standards. Thanks in advance for taking the time to post \:D/

incredable legs man, to get to that low BF, did you have to be uber strict on eating? I understand you didnt have to do alot of cardio just watched what you ate etc...how often did you have a cheat meal? ie extreme burger meal?

Maassive: Hey mate, thank you for the kind words :) hope training is going well.

Drizzt: Thanks bro :pfft: - Yeah I will definitely post a picture the night before the competition and one post competition.. Once that's done, journal time

Big John: Thanks mate, your story is inspiring... If only everyone else did that this world wouldn't be so obese!

Jokerized: Thanks mate! Trying my best to get the gold! :)

Grover: Thanks mate.. I am 5'7. Weighing more doesn't always necessarily mean better bro.. Don't fall for that trick.. Remember, some of the IFBB pro's or even in the 202 class weigh 90 or 100kg's (or around there) so there's no way I'd be in the high 70's or 80's as a natural either.. (as in shredded with striations etc)

Rovr4on: Thanks you bro! :D I am going to smash them next year and onwards along with every other body part. Want to be the best that I can be! \:D/ - To answer your question, just be 'strict' with your routine / diet but dont 'restrict' yourself from the foods you like.. Or if you crave something fit it into your diet.. This is why I count what I eat.. Incase I get a craving, I know what to take out or what to put in.. Simple mate. Seriously. No cheat meals during this 32 weeks.. How ever I do have refeeds which help raise your leptin levels so when you go back to your normal routine your metabolism doesn't stall (basically in a nutshell)

Samoan_Muscle: Thanks mate, appreciate the kind words :D - coming from you too. Lol yeah Matt is a good photographer, but for some reason I love my bodybuilding photo's like the one I posted above more than the whole 'male model' sorta look. I admit in the past that's what my goal was to look like that but quickly shifted to the look of a bodybuilder, the complete symmetry and balance. I guess people would appreciate those photos more than this one.. Hahaha yeah bro.. Looks wrong eh? I like posting it this way though, competing again any time soon? Or over it?

Phedder: Thank you mate! I think a lil bit more to go. I think when I'm 66kilo's I'll be at my full potential.. I'd say... Late July early August hopefully? I just want to be sliced bro

Oldfella: Cheers! :D - yeah mate, it just goes to show what ever you want in life, just keep chipping away at it..

by refeeds do you mean carb fasting every week or so to increase metabolism?

awesome work tho man, huge progress since your pics a few months back

Increase metabolism bro. Basically I double my CHO, drop my protein intake to LBM amount and slash my fats by half. Like concentrating on replenishing my glycogen stores. Appearantly it's quite anabolic so do it on the days where you work your lagging body parts.

I do it on Leg days lmao. Never were lagging but yeah.. I should do it on chest / arms or shoulders though.. And also the leaner you get the more you'll need them.. So I am using it on back and leg days.. But I might use it for shoulder and chest days.. Since genetic strong point is my back and legs look ok for now.

Good guideline is like if you get to say 12%, you should add refeeds.. Below 8% you should add a couple of them.. Thing is, don't take body fat measurements seriously. I don't even know what I am, on calipers today it says 7.3% but it could be less or way more. Just use it as a guideline

Hey mate,

a couple of questions on counting cals, as you're obviously very good at it.

1. What do you use to keep track of them? Web based/software/excel/etc?

2. What method did you use to calculate your required intake?

3. Do you eat more on a training day or just pick a stable intake for everyday?

cheers

Monarch King: Thanks mate! We will see if it is worthy soon enough.

Maassive: Cheers for the kind words mate.

1) Honestly? I just use word pad.. LOL.

2) Basically I found out how much calories I was eating for a week or two prior to dieting... Then when I got a fixed number and my weight stayed the same, I multiplied that number by 20% since thats how much I wanted my fat intake to be then I went and took a body fat test which came out to 15% (again not sure if accurate or not) but with that percentage, I found out how much lean body mass I have and quickly made that my protein intake, then the rest of the calories are carbohydrates. Hope this makes sense.. I work with lbs not kilos too bro

3) Stable, stable, stable. So you know if you're progressing or not..

Complete myth that shaving makes more hair grow back, it just appears thicker as once the hair is cut there is no natural contour from thick at the base to thin at the tip, also if you regularly shave the hair will be darker as it isn't exposed to the sun. True story (inb4 homo)

Looking solid dude (no homo)..Mean quads ..68.6 @5 7' 7.3 bf %...great stuff.. I have got 3 questions

1) your weight and bf % before cutting?

2) after how many weeks of cutting did you reach your current goal?

3) I know there has been a thread on strenght VS muscle building... But what approach did you take? I mean your rep range and weight for Squat,DL and how often did you train these muscle pw???

appreciate your feedback....
