This is the start of my 5x5 strength training! Looking forward to getting into it. My focus is going to be on big eats and big weights.

This is what my workouts are going to look like:

Workout A

Squat 5x5

Bench Press 5x5

Barbell Rows 5x5

Workout B

Squat 5x5

Overhead Press 5x5

Deadlift 1x5

Starting with:

30kg Overhead Press

40kg Bench Press

40kg Squat

60kg Barbell Row

90kg Deadlift

Workout days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I will be alternating between workout A and workout B.

Starting body weight: 77kg

Good stuff buddy. What are your 1rms atm?

Squat: About 120kg to parallel (going to work on depth)

Bench: Have hit 90kg but I'm going to say 80kg touch chest.

Deadlift: 160kg

Bentover Row: Just learned the correct technique yesterday (starting from floor).

Overhead Press: 50kg but I have just learned the correct technique (getting forward under the bar for heavier lifts).

Leg Press: 350kg to 90degrees

Those are the main ones.

I did a session where I worked out how much weight I should start with. But I have started to get back into my normal training so going to stick with that for a while longer.

Nice simple well-rounded plan - looks like Stronglifts?

Where in Welly are you working out?

Yeh, it is stronglifts. I work out in Trentham Military Camp gym.
