Pseudonym
What are you eating at the moment? Are you taking advantage of the cold winter weather, and bulking up? Or do you try to stay lean all year round?
Marcus
Good questions Pseudonym. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's posts.I'm leaning up at the moment. I've lost about 5kgs, at 88.5 kgs last night. Just doing half an hour cardio each night & keepng my carbs low & protein high. This is the lightest I've been for a couple of years & it feels good.I'm going on an overseas trip in September but when i get back i'll be getting my weight up again. CutTaBits
Well i guess i am bulking. I am still eating the same foods but alot more My training has gone from 5X 6am cardio & 5X 6pm weights a week, to just the 6pm weight training with a 20min cardio thrown in either at start or finish. When the days get longer and warmer i will get back into twice a day training. Until then i will continue to hibernate for the winter.
Varven
Training for strenght, Ive long stopped worrying about strict diets. However, I also consider it a good time to bulk up. So as long as Im keeping my protein in the 150 - 200g range, I ensure I get in enough carbs to keep me powered up at workouts.
Dyceast
Im in the bulking mode at the moment.Ive been eating huge feeds everday for about a month now.Have gained a good 4-5 kgs, Can still slighty see the abs. But right now I dont care about them. Im gonna keep bulking until about october, or until my stomach has gone way overboard  Then start slowy putting in more cardio and change the ratio of cabrs/protein/fats, still hit the weights and try to cut up for a month or 2. To me it meant eating over maintenance. Staying lean to me = maintaining or losing bodyfat.. ?My $0.02c.

deegee
i think it might be because yr burning more keeping yrself warm???It will be something simple like that. but being cold outside makes me more inclined to cook hot food. In the summer I dont.
Marcus
I find in the winter I tend to not be so active. So more time to eat.
Oros
As I am trying to loose fat at the moment, my carb content is pretty low.40gms (uncooked weight) oats, morning & immediately post training. 2 slices Vogals sunflower seed bread per day (1 slice @ 9:30am + 1 slice @ 3:00pm). 300-350gms mixed veg @ 11:45am.Other wise it's just protein, protein & more protein (about 300-400gms/day). Hav'nt experienced any loss in energy while training, the training weights seem to still be increasing & my body weight is still decreasing at present.
