difference between Prohormones and Anabolic Steroids

Recommended Posts

Pro-hormone = a steroid with a name that allows it to sell OTC for like 6months before its banned.

Generally its a bastardized steroid substance, that breaks down or is converted into a form of steroid.

That being said I think Androstenediol/dione is actually a good substance if you inj it. SHR did a cool thing about prohormones and DIY HRT :D

If anyone has a listen let me know what you think, it could be a case of primordial trying to back up and sell product. Been some pretty impressive transformations from their stack though.

One is worth spending money on, one is not!

ha ha ha ha ha so true!

Yeah for sure. Plus if you buy a PH nowadays, it's probably really old.

Basically the difference is the pro stands for the greek prefix for before, rather than professional (LOL).

As in, they are a step away from hormones chemically. Your liver tends to supply the necessary element (often a hydrogen atom) and converts it into an androgen. This also means that they tend to be heptatoxic.

Or atleast thats what they were when I did them, some 5 years ago. I have a mate who just bought 2 months worth of a prohormone, only to discover that they are about 7 years old, hardly active anymore and he paid twice the price of an actual steroid.

For all health risks they are pretty similar, if you go dose for dose. (Straight test is stronger obviously as it doesn't need converting.)
