Now since you guys probably know a lot more than me, would i be best to get rid of the last of my fat now and do a lean bulk or build up muscle and then cut?

I don't think you've got much more fat to get rid of, mate. You done good. Now it's bulking time! :D

Ok cool went to grocery store today and made sure i got lots of nuts, tuna, chicken, eggs, beans and green veges

yeah get on the bulk up mate!

haha yeah sounds good

Excellent work. Big transformation. Now to build some lean muscle. I guess there is enough info on this site to help you do that.

yup been reading heaps today think i have a pretty good diet sussed out

What did u weigh in the fat pics? What were you doing to get that out of shape? Lol

i was 97kg, and i had always been chubby but since i finished high school just over 2 years ago and went on to study i quit all my sports to keep up with my study and just ate shit food and did no exercise what so ever so the fat kept piling up lol

Good stuff...keep it up

Thanks man

  • 2 months later...

Alright time for a bit of an update

Things haven't been going exactly to plan the last few months my training and nutrition has taken a bit of a back seat due to some very unexpected events and bills which I know is no excuse but I cant change the past so I need to look forward.

Since my last update nearly 3 months ago i have only put on about 4kilos :( but looking in the mirror i can defiantly see a change.

Overall my diet is pretty good but could easily be better im eating clean but find it hard to hit the exact mircos on a daily basis and maybe up to + or - 150 calories out on my daily limit.

My training is pretty average to be honest I try to workout 3-4 times a week but mainly ends up 3 times. I need to work on pushing though that barrier and working my muscles to absolute fatigue instead of giving up 1 or 2 reps early. But i am noticing that my weights are increasing.

At the moment I have a very busy schedule im working 35 hours a week as well as doing 3 uni papers so untill the end of second semester I am going to really struggle with fitting everything in but ill just have to suck it up for the next 4 months

Try to find the time bro. Im also studying, and i find that working out everyday helps me concentrate mentally in my lectures etc.. ( when im not messing around lol ).

I guess you have just got to try find that balance between it all.. As long as you are making progress, even if its a little. you can still be happy about it! :)

 I used to catch myself saying, "That'll do" - but that WON'T do. It's the last few reps that are the most important ones. That's where you push the limits, and that's where the growing happens. The only thing the early reps are good for is getting you to the last few.
