Your biggest training milestone?

Recommended Posts

Boom

your spotter looks more psyched than you lol.

Solid natural bench.

Is that crazy russian dude still around. Your spotter I mean. I knew him a million years ago. I wonder if he still hits himself in between sets.

Yep... Big Mike. He uses very interesting language to psych himself up. We used to train at a family type gym and the owner would get all upset because he kept overloading the machines and breaking them :pfft:

Remember the topic is "Your biggest training milestone".

I still jerk off over my 300x3 squat, but if you wanna critique it.... It wasn't comp depth, it was a box squat, no it wasn't raw...yada yada yada. It remains one of MY milestones.

The same applies to GR's 205x10 - even if he only did 7 reps, even if the form was non

existent, even if they were partial rack pulls that he didn't lock out & needed straps to hold

on... He remembers 205x10 and therefore to him it is his biggest milestone.

To the armchair critics, tell us about YOUR milestones not criticise others for theirs!!

Fair call Nate.

My biggest milestones was benching 600kgs. I couldnt unrack it so there was no motion let alone range of motion but I dont care It is my milestone.

I once pretended My 50kg squat was 1000kgs. AWESOME

And I had a dream that I knocked out mike tyson

:haha:

I love you more and more each day Jimjim you are the funniest c**t on here!!! I marry you if you werent already hooked up!!

For the record the milestone I'd like to reach is busting out a GI Jane style one armed push-up. Hard as f*ck! Or marrying Jimjim \:D/

Shouldn't this be in the "depression" thread

next you will be wanting a son like ...... !

Nice thread folks

My First 10 reps of wide grip chin ups X 2…8repX1 (4 months back)

has been my best moment in my training period

130kgX5 box squat (2 weeks back)

90kgX 5 BB bench…struggling to make any progress on this… Hope to Bench 100kg by this Dec…

Also Hit 8-9% Bf ….by 21 DEC …currently hovering around 14% (got 6 month)

You already can bench 100kg. I can do 90 for 3 reps and I can do 100 for a single.

Really? I can bench 100 x 6 to chest, no spotter, but i've never been able to get 120...

what am I doing wrong?

Yes i kind of feel I am stuck at 90  and I tend to agree with Massive...but I ll probably try descending set and start of with 100 kg and see how it goes...

Bench Press is a weird lift.

My tested max was 110kgs and with lack of training it plummeted from that so fast that in my post shoulder rehab workouts my triceps are shaking like a leaf all the way through low reps at 90kgs :pfft:.

My flatmates; one is a ganglor and hardly ever trains and he pushes 110kgs easy as. Prick. The other is a big legged meat axe rugby player and he can barely press 70kgs.

I think your body shape and natural front delt/tricep strength influence it hardout.

I doubt I will ever bench 120kgs haha.

In no particular order:

When I first benched more than my bodyweight. 100kg was great but not as exciting as that.

When I got to 95kg (was a goal since young). A decade ago I was 79kg!

and when I spewed due to the intensity of training.
