I'm in the city but can't quite see the harbour bridge (which is reported to be possibly going to be hit next - tvnz). fucken guted.

I live 2 mins from where it hit in albany so had a lot of freinds working or near the mall at the time it hit

I just drove through as I live in Albany, it looks crazy, huge chunks of corrogated iron in the trees.

We had a visitor at home who saw it on the way here, people were just driving into it.

She said "it just didn't register as being real...we don't get tornado's in NZ"

The placemakers building they keep showing had no walls already, it was a frame with a roof, the tornado didn't tear the walls down.

It looks like the roof was taken to by gods weedeater.
