Excuse the noob question.. But how does the belt help you with feeling more supportive? Does it make your back feel more secure?

By taking a big breath and pushing out against the belt with your gut helps to activate the core which inturn should take pressure off the back. That's just my 2c worth :shifty: .

I'm surprised you only had to raise your hand once but the 'house is all about low reps !

I'm in Auckland next week so I will do my trainering at the uni gym, I have never been there before but it's down the road from where I am staying and it sounds PLing friendly....

Then I'm off to the middle east for a week, there is a gym I can go to there too, it's summer there so it will be 50 degrees Celsius so lifting in that heat will be interesting :pale:

ooooo I would love to! I have been trying to think of ways I can get to you! I'm flying up so I won't have access to a car to get to you :cry: I will have to do a road trip and come lift :grin:

I am going to Auckland for work and Middle east for holiday :P my Dad lives out there so I'm visiting him \:D/

I'm going to do day 1 tomorrow to fit it into next week, I'm back in Wellington briefly on Friday night just enough to repack and get back on the plane at 6am Saturday morning. So I will get sheiko done next week in Sporkland, just not 100% sure about the week after, there is a gym in the desert, it has olympic bars just no squat rack :roll: I will have to see how it goes.

When I come back I'll either finish that 4th week or if I have finished it I will test \:D/

I have already improved 100000000% being in the house! I wish I had joined soonerer! :pfft: OB1 is verrry wise and knows everything! 8) :notworthy:

I didn't have anything to gauge my technique off before it is just so much betterer being in the house being around others that are lifting too! :nod:

I have been eating like an elephant the past week I feel good and have been recovering better/faster I think. I found myself standing at the buffet table at work on Friday 'clearing it away' :pfft:

I have discovered my breathing is crap on the squat. The last lot of squats I breathed as I do for bench and the weight felt alot lighter :roll: I'm not sure when my breathing went out the window but it was quite some time ago I think!

I'm not sure when/how/why/who I can log the next couple of weeks, internet is a bit random in my hotel I am staying in next week and also out in le desert. But be rest assured Vee is out there somewhere liftering stuff and will log when I can! :salute:

I will miss the house over the next 2 weeks :cry:

Got back from O/S late Saturday night and have spent the last week sick with food poisoning :puke: doc gave me antibiotics and I am feeling a hella lot betterer. I have lost a couple of kgs, but I have learnt my lesson. I am never going anywhere ever again! :disgusted:

I will stay here and go to work, home and the house only. :pfft:

Felt like chucking while doing squats and was feeling a bit dizzy so that's why the GMs are 5x1 instead of 5x5, had a nice lie down with the flyes and bench and felt betterer.

I'm starting #37 again as it's been too dis-jointed the last few weeks and I want to have a good run of it then test. So back to the beginning again!

In other news, I have put my trusty sequined chucks to rest :( they have totally fallen apart after 4 years of trustyness.

They have been replaced with some hot pink chucks, which have alot to live up to following in the shadow of the red sequined chucks, but, I am sure they will do just a good a job. :pray:
