I have no idea what the music was till I changed it just before the 60kg squats. There were boys in the house I hadn't seen before and they couldn't work the music so they were playing stuff from their phone until I fixed the music and started playing some prodigy- much betterer!

Knee sleeves, they keep my knees nice and snuggly warm :grin:

I need more practice with wraps I might use them more next year I'm not sure, I might stick with raw :shrug: I'm good with just knees sleeves for now.

It's a powerlifting BONANZA weekend! 46 lifters on Saturday at the Bbro and then 20 or so lifters on Sunday at the classic raw at the house followed by a BBQ :grin:

I'm such a noob, I shouldn't be training so close to comp apparently! I normally train on a Thursday so I did my last train this evening as scheduled but shoulda done it yesterday eeek!

Squat is looking high so OB checked depth with calls and I re-jigged my opener. Did a little benching but not as much as prescribed Vee got scared she might turn into a pumpkin or something training this close to comp! :shifty: :oops:

That is all! No more trainering now!

I'm not gonna say good luck cos you don't need it. Just lift it like any other lift and you will be fine. Good hard and have fun. Will be looking forward to seeing the pics and vids :nod:

Great day liftering :grin:

I was pretty tired and sore going into it this morning, but I took a shed load of voltarens and deep heated everything, managed to force lots of food down between sessions.

SO what did I do?

Squat

65kg - GOOD LIFT

72.5kg - GOOD LIFT

80kg - NO LIFT got stuck on the way back up

Bench

42.5kg GOOD LIFT

45kg GOOD LIFT

47.5kg NO LIFT- either bounced off chest or started pressing too early

Deads

95kg- GOOD LIFT

102.5kg- GOOD LIFT

110kg- NO LIFT- didn't lock out enough

so 220kg total this is up +42.5kg on my last comp ALL comp PBs, I'm pleased with this! I went for broke on my 3rd lifts, the refs were pretty strict - this is a good thing!

It was a great day liftering and ANOTHER day of liftering tomorrow WOOP! Thanks to OB and Ruth for putting on an amazing comp again!
