Just wanting to know if this is normal.

I'm on my 4th week of my cycle now. Everything is going great so far. But all of a sudden every time i jab i hit something and my leg twitches with the needle in it and feels fucking weird. It happened last Friday and I assumed I hit a vain so I jabbed in a different site. But now every time I jab i get the feeling. I know it isn't a vain now because it happened yesterday and i aspirated to see and nothing but air came out..

Any ideas on whats happening?

Oh and its only happened on one leg, the other is all good.

Cause I heard that hitting a nerve usually results in your leg being really sore and almost useless for a couple of days?

Or is that just worst case scenario?

Where on your leg are you pinning?

Some places are more 'risky' than others.

I wouldn't freak too much. If you twitched and relocated, you will heal.

I have had 'numb sensations' (oxymoron? lol) for a week, but they go.

Let your body be your guide. If it feels wrong, don't do it.

On the outer part of my quad. Its only on one leg to so I figure its just the area of my leg that I'm doing it. Its just kinda off putting, cause if later on down the track im needing to pin EOD sorta thing its not gonna be fun waking up thinking yay time to hit a nerve :/

What does a nerve feel like..? If i push hard enough anywhere its uncomfortable

Hey Fella.....

I think I mentioned this in an earlier post.....

I've hit em on more than enough occasions..

To find em, press with your thumb or finger quite hard on the area you are about to inject.... If you feel like there is a nerve there move to where you can't feel one......

And keep a look out for veins too.....

You could always try & push through it... :grin: But I'm not recomending it.. :pfft: :pfft: :pfft:

What I have wrongly been refering to is the hyperirratable spots on skeletal muscle, they're the same things you apply pressure to in trigger-point therapy, & stick the needles in with acupuncture....

Not nerves...!!!!
