Tire flipping

chaos

Recommended Posts

the one commonly used in Powerhouse vids and Coast Barbell vids is 235kg (small variances of course for brands) and the one in the above vid "looks a little bigger may a 250-280kg. Technique is the key to good tyre flipping...both my 56kg wife and 58kg daugher (16) can flip the 235kg tyre we use for reps.

I think I could have gotten 9 if I hadn't slipped. :(

Most fun type of training IMO.

Got a stone mold on order and in the process of making a yoke. Fun times ahead!!

like your style  ...where are you training?

Thanks guys.....here's my first ever attempt to pick up a stone 240#....little over 100kg I think.

Watching Derek Poundstone and Steve MacDonald lift stone, I can see I need to work on technique. :shifty:

White socks and black shoes. Big fashion no no
