Cheers big fulla :)

The other guys did bloody well for either first time or not having touched them for a while  (I train with tyres semi-regularly as part of my GPP circuit)

  • 4 weeks later...

i visited powerhouse on my way through Welly this week.

I cant really put it into words well, but when people say that the house is NZ's most prominent strength facility - they are 100% right!

i saw machines/equipment that ive only ever seen on youtube. If i was living in welly, i would live outside phouse!

thanks for all the tips Old Bull! i will be back there soon i feel!

best gym in NZ.

PHouse tops my list too, with ESB a close second as it costs more to fly there than Wellington!

CBC look to be backing up as well!

Gotta luv strength training facilities, the gear, the atmosphere, no amount of shiny shit beats that.

The P House is a mile in front and the benchmark. But it's nice to have something to aspire to.

The other thing to consider is the whanau environment that OB has created. You can't buy that. Very apparent in the past few days. It's pretty clear that OB is more than just a gym owner and powerlifter.

Imagine if OB and Tonka decide to take prominent roles in the NZPF. Then we might see some real progress in the sport.
