Sorry for the late input on this.

As a competitive powerlifter, PBs are definitley secondary to me.

When I lost at last years Oceanias by only 7 kgs, i was so fuked off. Even though I got 2 pbs. At the end of the day they dont award medals for personal bests. I beleive in winnign anyway neccessary (as long as it is within the rules) so if i have to Mind f*ck my opponent and see him crumble under the pressure I will sit back and laugh.If i have to talk to my oponent during the lifting to psych him out I will do it. Just wait until lifters get onto the international stage and get shocked by how dog-eat-dog it is. No quarter asked for or given

If I have to make a big jump to make sure I win. I will do it. The thought of getting PBs doesnt even come into it.

Killer instinct and winning instead of participation are key.

I couldnt imagine being happy with second place...
