Zercher Squats

I tried these for the first time this week. A strongman type exercise but excellent for training the upper quads and posterior chain.

And a video below. They do hurt once you get up around 3 plates but they are good money for variety. Keep the reps low. I think it is a good max effort exercise.

yeah bro..thay can nail ya! I got to 160kg on them and had to wrap a pool noodle round the bar for some protection. I was picking them up off low pins too to emulate the anvil pick up and carry.

Did you wear pink gloves too bro? :oops:
