Not competing - (posing trunks got given retirement sometime ago) but will be helping out. Lots of interest coming from Auckland, Bay Of Plenty, Taupo and various other areas. Alot of new competitors will be stepping on stage - no doubt very nervous, but we know that our backstage crew will be on hand to keep them focussed and calm. Again, there will be some well known names taking to the stage in order to qualify for the Nabba Worlds in Sao Paolo - Brazil and a few of our Aussie friends (and possibly athletes) will be attending as well. All 'n' all it's going to be a fantastic show. We know the boys have been working hard to pull it altogether. Will see everyone there. :)

Fark mean.. Will be a good show.

Doc to off topic a bit, last time you attempted the 500pounder you tore your pec right? I don't know much about injuries what would have caused the tear? Shear overload of weight? Or a technical issue?

Thanks bro for reminding me! Just kidding.

It was actually 220 kg which is 484 pound. I'm not sure what caused it mate. It was too heavy on the day. I felt it go on the way down and there were 3 loud rips. Don't think it was technical. It has taken me a while to get over it but hopefully it will be okay now. I weighed 110 kg on that day. I hope to be a lean 115 kg on 30 April. Lol...

I'm really looking forward to this show. Dave, Lisa, Richard, Annette down here and Missy and co have putting putting in a huge amount of effort. I know that personally.

I sense that they are well respected for their ability as organisers as they are all great competitors in their own right and therefore they know what it takes to run a great show. I'm expecting a massive show in terms of numbers but also quality.

I love the one show format that NABBA/WFF has. Makes for an action packed day. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing Mark Anderson on stage again. He is the best bodybuilder in the country in my opinion.

One show format is great for everyone  Im really looking forward to seeing our top athletes compete. Does anyone know if Neroli is competing at this show? It was fantastic last year seeing two world class figure girls in the one class, would have been one of the top classes I saw last year, couldnt get any better than that.

Wow, if that's the case I wish I could come and see it again. Agree with Maree about it being awesome seeing Annette and Neralee competing together last year. Sadly I've got something else on that prevents me being in Chch that weekend to support the show (waaaaaaaaaay to fat and unmuscly to even consider competing :pfft: )
