Biggest Front Squat?

Recommended Posts

warrick brant's front squat is the current world record

Unofficial I presume. I would have thought that some of those Eastern European weightlifters would be up around 400 kg? Obviously not.

Rezazedeh can do 280-300 for a double quite easily, being a superheavy i guess that give you an idea. IF some of those super heavy Oly lifters had their mind set on setting a WR im pretty sure warrick would fall by the wayside fairly quickly

Sweet. Their grip is quite different also I guess.

Im supposed to be doing Front Squats at the moment, but the weight of the barbell across my arms really hurts. Arms too small probably.

The bar should be sitting right where the deltoid kinks when you raise your arms, any pain you get when you are doing the squats correctly will subside after a few sessions

What an animal!

He didn't go too low but that guy didn't look too short either, what a huge effort!

Loved the sponsorship call out too

" ah thanks power balance band for ahh getting me through my workout.. (with money)"

he is 5'9", also his parents own KOOGA which is quite a big sporting apparel brand in Aus.

Brants 350 is the biggest of which I have heard, though his depth could have been better. I've heard of Oly lifters go to 335, and 320ish. You'd probably find most would stop around there as its at a point of diminishing returns for improving their actual oly lifts.
