Definitely a disadvantage for me. At 5ft 3in I'm too short to enter the Womens Athletic class for NABBA/WFF. No way around it.

Genetics are a height thing, but they're also a muscular development thing. Someone can be a taller body builder but not necessarily have better muscle mass, definition or strength. At the end of the day, those matter more than height.

From a competition perspective I think the shorter guys initially have more density and thickness but once a taller guy gets it all together they sure look freaky onstage. Kind of overpowering sometimes. Mind you if you've got it all together it doesn't matter who you're next too.

Yeah but Larry English (202 Olympia winner) is quite a bit shorter than Jay Cutler. Obviously they competed in different comps, but each to their own.

Women, umm I didnt think about women voting on the poll I would of made a new poll for you all to have fun on but cbf Ive already got one here so sorry.

Harry summed it up really. At first glance I would say as a generalisation in my opinion that nzbb'rs are ,*on average, shorter then the average male.

But this poll may well tell a different story, the 6ft -2 option is pretty heavy and thats taller then the average male.....interesting!! :wink:

*Average non bb/pl male: 5ft 11
