100% WPI for post workout, mix in your carbs later. No reason to pay for them in the carbs in it.

Pre workout BCAAs Xtend if pretty well renowned.

Creatine is popular.

Beyond that you'll have to wait for a more seasoned supplementer.

Eat a good diet and you won't need too much in the way of supplements. A good diet comes before supplements.

Don't waste you money on multivitamins. They're totally useless. You'll piss it all down the drain, at best, at worst you might go above Upper Limit recommended micronutrient levels. For some this will mean a toxic amount (highly unlikely).

You should get plenty of nutrients from your diet.

Rubbish advice

Vitamin C is in great demand by weight lifters of any kind. It's water soluble and if u drink alot of water you'll be pissing it away frequently, that I do agree with.

B6 is in demand for bodybuilders but you'll get that in ZMA.

And finally from the top 3, Vit B1, without enough you'll not put on any muscle.

Thankfully the Bs are in red meat so if you eat alot of beef you'll be covered which is what you probably mean...but in all honesty a Multi-Vit once or twice a day will not put you over ANY limits and is good insurance.

Also all the RDA's are based on the AVERAGE INACTIVE person, who's body has no use for extra vitamins.

So yes, try get a spectrum of vitamins and minerals from natural sources but a multi, as android put it, is nutritional "insurance"

I buy this Glucose from any Pak 'n Save in the country and it's less than $3 for a 400gm container in the "Sugars" section.

I add 40-60gms per post-workout shake (Legs and Back get the 60gms) so it lasts at least a week and a half. Cheap as chips

on a bulk for another 10kg in body weight.... so 10-12 weeks to go

LOL how unrealistic are you. Even on gear youd be pushing your luck big time to get near that number in that time frame! Now if you just want to get fat and put on 10kg then yeah its possible.

"Hey bro looks like youv put a bit of a gut on???" "its all good bro im bulking" :pfft:

goal is to get o 95kg in body weight in 10-12 weeks time

then have a week off from the gym and start a new training routine

But why? what are you going to accomplish besides making the dieting phase longer and harder for yourself than it needs to be. I'm all for setting goals, but everything you want to accomplish should have solid reasoning behind it.

so u reccomend a slower pace to gain bodyweight?

not quite sure what u mean??

my goal is 95kg. this is just a number i started off with. but obvisouly will depend more on the mirror and what im happy with

i started at 67kg and im just on 6ft. not aiming to be a body builder or anything like that. just general fitness and have a great physique

once i hit 95kg ill see what i think infront of the mirror and go from there.

Definitely. Especially if your end goal is to have a great physique, adding mostly fat with some muscle in 10 weeks isn't going to do you much good.

My opinion is that you should go by the mirror through out the entire process. If you're putting on too much fat, eat a little less. If you're not gaining much of anything, eat a little more. Simple.

yeah thanks. seems to be working good so far. i thought a 1kg BW gain per week was average?

obvisouly some is fat and not all muscle, i understand that

i have gained some fat, but not a lot

Perhaps from your 67kg beginnings to maybe mid 70kgs, but you can't keep it up forever. Muscle gain is a lot harder/slower than you think. You'd be a pro within a year at 1kg a week

Perfect point a so many guys fall into this mistake. They go from being a rack (which i would say is safe to assume you were at 67kg & 6ft tall) to putting on 5 even 10kg. Bit of muscle rest fat. Doesnt look too bad just makes them look bigger but at 77kg and 6ft tall this fat still wont make you look fat. Keep adding 'weight' like you are seemingly wanting to do and by the time you reach 95kg you will be FAT. Its often when guys get so wrapped up in the scales they dont realise the quality of this weight gain just 'im getting bigger'. They reach their goal and not long after realise they dont look that great.. beach season is coming or something like that. Start a cut, lose 10kg and still not happy, lose 5more to get cut up and bam.. your 80kg again at best. Suddenly your 'weight gain' was a bit of a waist of time. Slow and steady wins the race. Accept some fat gain and a necessary evil/unavoidable side effect but limit it as much as possible because once you do a proper diet down to get that great physique you arnt going to want to do it again and again. Dieting sucks, slow lean mass gain is much better in the long run.

Its a marathon not a sprint.

Creatine mono (creapure for the rep) is always a good bet man.

Xtend is great pre intra and post workout, good glutamine source too.

ZMA and a multi vit or specific vits (from foods that you dont typically eat) are good too, if you sweat a lot these are even more important. I think ZMA is good as its a natural AI and a lot of athletes lack in it apparently.

Milo for your whey? I assume its natural falcoured.

milo-nestle.jpg

Lots of B vits about 33 RDI per serve

Go to pure bulk to get your fishoil, very inexpensive stuff

And get some muscletech vapornanoroidalbolic enhancer...and you get massive cuz

Ok you win, that's cheap

The guys are right, scales mean nothing it's the look... except youre not the first or the last to do this way.

Worked fine for me and although I tell myself it's the mirror that counts it is still the scales that motivate me to keep eating large, so it works.

If you consider bulking makes you stronger and use that size to lift heavier and so stress those muscles more...then it's not the end of the world.

But they're right in that you'll be bigger but fatter.

Still can't see 10kg gain happening if you came from a light weight then you're reaching new highs, new muscle size, not easy to do at 1kg/wk naturally - good luck
