Gym Rat Nabba/Wff can not be moved to November due to it being a qualifier for the Nabba Universe Southport UK on Sat 29th October.

So now there will be no Hotel shortage as its miles away from were the rugby will be played

No hotel shortage?? Auckland is already short and now with the Barney Army moving out of CHC it will not matter where the comp is in the Region. Accommodation will be in short supply it's just a fact of the situation. I'm sure most of us will find somewhere to stay and if we can't then we may have to take a miss on it this year (very very last resort). :nod:

From a promoters perspective its a great idea - central city hotels will be jammed with potential punters out to see something a bit different. There are plenty of accomodation options in auckland >> up in rodney / Waitakere ... most people think Auckland stops at the edge of the cbd. If you don't mind an hours travel (which we do every day in anycase) its not actually that bad.

We understand that the 2011 Rugby World Cup has meant that finding accommodation at a decent rate during October, has been difficult.The Team at NABBA-WFF have been working hard behind the scenes to find a way that we can help.

We would like to announce that we have sourced accommodation for the NABBA-WFF Nationals in Auckland on Saturday October 8th.

The beautiful Orakei Marae will play host to individuals and teams travelling to Auckland from around NZ and Australia.

The rate per person is $50 which includes 2 x nights, and $10 which is a BOND and is refundable (how good does it get)? This is strictly on a first come first served basis. NABBA-WFF National Organisers will collect the funds and all funds will be going directly to the Marae Trust. NABBA-WFF will not profit from this in anyway.

You must be a NABBA-WFF competitor who is a fully paid member to make this booking.

Your family and friends are welcome to accompany you for the same rate but you must include them on your initial booking.

Please be aware that preference to space will be given to NABBA-WFF Competitors before space is confirmed for family and friends.

All bookings for spaces and further information on this accommodation must be directed to Wendy on (09) 303 1194. Don't delay. Remember it is on a first come first served basis.

The accommodation has just been confirmed today now all you need to do is gather your team. :D

That cheap accomadtion for all three Nats in Aucks durring the world cup compare to other types of accomation durring the world cup which are more expensive well guys and good job :clap: :clap: .

Sorry, this is just to confirm that the booking at the Marae is under NABBA-WFF so does not include athletes from other federations as it is up to those organisations to help their athletes if possible to find accommodation.

It's a beautiful cultural icon steeped in history and just up the hill from Mission Bay (great morning show breakfasts)

The Bond of $10 is included in the $50 rate and is refundable (as long as there is no damage) so at $20 per night is unbelievable

Thanks again to the team at the Orakei Marae for squeezing this booking in for the athletes and their loved ones. :clap:
