Stepmill...Wellington.....anywhere????

I've recently moved to Wellington and my gym doesn't have a stepmill. One of those cardio machines that's like a treadmill with stairs. Does anyone know of a gym in Wellington/Palmerston North area that has a stepmill????? TIA

City Fitness Thorndon has/ had one, I'm not 100% sure if it's still there after their recent re-arrangement of the cardio equipment.

^ This. I cant confirm that they still have it after the reshuffle eiher though, havent really scoped out the cardio setup, but it would be random for them to have ditched it.

Also there is a member on here who is selling his gym membership contract at cityfitness thorndon i think, could be worth messaging him if you end up looking to join. His name member name is Drizzt.

Yes, City Fitness Thorndon has a StairMaster StepMill 7000PT on their cardio floor.

It doesn't seem to be too popular - didn't see it in use during the Monday evening peaktime, when all the treadmills, cross trainers and ellipticals were in use.

Thanks to both of you for that information. I'm actually a member at cityfitness Kapiti so gonna zoom down to Thorndon tomorrow morning to try it out. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I should have done this when I first moved to Wellington (-:
