Squid or prawns?

I saw both at the supermarket in the frozen section today and given that neither of them are being fished into extinction (yet) like many other fishes, my interest was sparked.

Just wondering if anyone knows the protein content/levels of both squid and prawns? Are they worthy of inclusion in a BB'ers eating plan?

Anyone here a regular eater of either as part of their diet?

 I haven't seen 'let me google that for you' before! LOL

So does anyone currently have squid or prawns in their diet regularly?

It's cheaper than most fish!

I don't eat a lot of them but they are a good source of protein and another way to get some variety into your protein intake.

Not sure about price? The frozen stuff maybe cheaper than fresh fish but it probably won't taste as good either.

I hope shrimps aren't being fished to extinction; I eat them every other day. I read they're 30g protein per 150g shrimps (and the same with most finfish). I know shrimps are imported from Aus . . . which would deter me but I love 'em. My wife convinced me to get the frozen hoki the other day, though, which is delicious with a bit of soy sauce. :>

I picked up a horrible bag of shrimps the other week that was only 15g protein per 150g. WTF is with that?

was actually wondering about this, saw frozen squid tube for 6$/kilo and it tastes allgood, quick google says its something like 13g protein per 85g tube, low fat, gonna get some more often. squid rings on

After having fresh squid rings the frozen stuff tastes like rubber. Only been lucky enough to net about 3 fresh squid though :(
