and is this the olympic bar that weighs 45 pounds

no ...its too short and I doubt it would be rated at more than 600-800lbs. I also doubt its running any sort of quality bearing...more likey some crap steel bush. Try Fitness Imports....you shoul d be be able to haggle a real bar out of them for less than $200 :nod:
