obviously squats and heavy leg presses etc also deadlifts help develop hamstrings and glutes tho most dont believe it

but I think where most people fail with leg training isnt the exercises but the intensity they must train at just because you think you are going heavy and hard most of the time your not

try squatting to absolute failure the point where you go down and even with a spotter you cant get back up use the safetys ofcourse also on leg presses when you think you cant get 1 more do 10more with a spotter etc also heavy lunges not 10kg lunges im talking 40kg plus each hand

go watch a dorian yates leg workout and you will see some real intensity

and like steak said eat some meat

Absolutely... effective leg routines are simple routines but all that aside its the intensity you train at that yield results. High reps work for me with the occasional heavy set - 4 reps or so. Squat till you basically collapse then HARDEN THE f*ck UP and rep out a couple more.

Monday: Biceps

Tuesday:Biceps

Wednesday: Biceps

Thursday: Biceps

Friday: Biceps

Saturday: take photos of legs in mirror

Sunday: Repeat.

What works for me? Never doing the same leg workout two weeks in a row. You can go high reps for legs and get a really good pump. For example, 100 reps of two plates a side with half range of motion and a whole lot of shit like dropsets, train tracks. I find eating properly is the most effective thing though
