Hi. I've lifted on and off for the last seven years. I haven't ever made any real progress, because I get distracted after about four to six months and enter a radically different existence to the previous existence and leave the old one behind.

But I'm thinking this year I'll break through my personal bests and finally build a solid foundation.

I'm skinny-fat and weak and easily overtrained. My strategy right now is to take it slowly, on a re-comp. I've been doing this for the last ten weeks and my lifts have gone up while my belly has been going down . . . feels good. We'll see how long this lasts before I need to up the calories. I have long skinny limbs and a wide torso: I look like a headcrab. But my favourite exercise is sumo deadlift. I do front squats with crossed arms instead of regular squats, and I'm sure I look like a genie toad doing it.

A goal for 2011: complete one full glute-ham raise.

I don't eat mammals or birds. But I get 160g protein on off days and 180g on.
