Hello

New here.. obviously.

Not only new to here, But also new to exercise.

I am currently a scrawny 69-70kg dude.. 29 years old.

2010 was a year for change. Gave up smoking, Started running then joined a gym.

Now I am keen to soak up any information I find to help me improve my health.

Goals..

To be honest.. I do not really know

At this stage I just want to be healthy and doing something rather then sitting about on the couch.

When I gave up smoking, I only really started running as something to keep my mind on something else.

I did not expect to actually enjoy it

Then I joined the gym to improve my running.

I don't want to be a body building competitor.. Just want to look and feel good about myself.

I like a challenge and I like to see results.

hey man, sounds similar to me a few years back, gave up drinking n smoking and took running more seriously . I used to compete at a younger age so was an easy motivating option to replace smoking durrys and been a migit maggot.

But I suggest you give strength type training ago, it keeps you very focused and offers great rewards. i took it up 8months after I decided to change lifestyles and I havent looked back yet.
