He packs more mass than guys like Priest (would probably beat English on shape) so he looks wider than some of the big guys. I like Hide's shape, probably not top 10 i guess but still good and can sneak in if someone's off (someone's always off)

he looked better then victor and kai at the last olympia

but yea not to much of a fan of the pro scene anymore as its to much chemical warfare now and the guys are loosing there own special look they all look the same now the only difference been who comes in condition or not check out the top 10 from the 80s or 90s and everyone had there own characteristics and unique look

Umm all the guys look the same?

Hardly any of those guys came in the condition that these guys do now days

ok saying they all look the same was been a bit general but it is definately not as varied as decades gone which made it more interesting and fun to watch imo still get the wow factor when you see the size of the guys but thats about all

Kevin Levrone still one of the great classic physiques. Maybe not the condition of todays Cutler, Green & Heath in the 2002 Mr O clip but still one of the best that never won the "O" .

Great poser as well. His transformation over the last year or two back into BBing has been interesting to follow. His training methods & exercises are tops IMO. Basic, heavy well formed workouts.

Yeah Levrone was a freak and he was symmetrical too. Agree with MNZ and TWL, didn`t understand why he never won a sandow.

Shawn Ray was ok, then I saw a clip of him saying he should have won a comp (can`t remember if it was Mr O or Night of Champions) over Dorian Yates- he had a tricep tear at the time. Can`t be bitter when the judges make a decision, and still go on about it to this day lol... thoughts

Another favourite would have to be Milos Sarcev, he was awesome/freaky

Ronnie will always be one of my fav BBers (recent BBers anyway)- freak, enough said

Pro Bodybuilding was interesting in the days when the likes of Levrone, Yates, Cormier, Wheeler, Taylor, Ray, El Sonbaty, Sarsev, Fux, Priest, Francois, Schmidt, Munzer, Coleman etc lined up together.

Now not so much. Just my opinion though.

Yup they were freaks: El Sonbaty  saw a pic of him benching 5-6PPS on incline  What did you like so much about Vince Taylor? I didn`t think he stood out that much, just my opinion

Just saying that as a line up that era had it all. Tall men like Dillet, freaks like Matarazzo, Priest, aethetics like Wheeler, Levrone, Ray, condition like Munzer, mass machines like El Sonbaty, Fux, good alround physiques like Taylor, Francois etc.

As far as favorites go Levrone always stuck out to me. As did Flex.

Gotcha, yeah understand where you`re coming from. Dillet was a freak, like I said before if only he could pose :pfft:

Yeah Levrone and Flex will always be remembered: Levrone`s side chest pose/most muscular was insane- when he did the most muscular side on. Now we can only name a few good names. I don`t get how some of the pro`s qualify for the O, or if its just to make up for numbers :pfft:

shame that politics did that, wonder what condition he is in now

Agree completely, he was a freak- 210lbs at 15yrs old

Always a shame to see the guys who give everything for the sport in terms of training etc get screwed over by politics!
