NZPF Calendar

[Dr Squat]

Does anyone know when the NZPF will publish their calendar for the 2011 year? I see that the old calendar is still on their redundant website.

It makes planning difficult for lifters who wish to compete. These are the little things that shouldn't be that difficult to get right.

You should talk to the President, he's down your way I believe although he's hardly taken an active role with things since replacing the ever reliable Steve Lousich.

Maybe at AGM time OB or Tonka might stand? Would be a NZPF revival then!

It seems that Bodybuilding and Powerlifting are struggling to get it right on the National front. Some good work going on in the provinces.

Yeah very strong parallels in both sports. Local groups organising great comps with great support, but National bodies struggling to keep up? Under resourced maybe?

Marie and Darren are a lot quicker at getting stuff up than the NZPF webmaster so club website always a good bet to check first. Calendar would have been emailed to me but not back at work until next week.

Brian Armstrong is the President. He lives in Timaru.

Steve Lousich is engaged and living in Ashburton. That's about an hour from Christchurch so I don't expect we will see him until the Canterbury Champs.

2011

Notes:

1. As well as “Out of Contest” Drug Testing for all competitive members of the

NZPF, Drug Testing may be conducted at any of the Powerlifting Contests listed

below.

2. Directors of NZPF National, North and South Island, or Provincial

Championships may charge late entry fees for entries received after the entry

closing dates, provided such entry closing dates are publicly advertised in all

respective National Championship promotional material, including the entry

forms themselves (this is to help offset any inconvenience and added expense

created with regards to the event planning, extra awards etc).

3. Lifters wishing to compete in Provincial, National, International or World

Championships must meet the Qualifying Criteria set by the NZPF National

Executive Council (copy attached), or be granted a NZPF Qualifying Criteria

waiver by the NZPF NEC.
