For sure, ya work out the cost of some and you'd be better off buying gear

when i say supplements i actually mean gear lol. protein powder and maybe a shitty post workout drink are only 'supplements' i tend to buy.

health, moral and wellbeing debates aside. its so much better bang for your buck. anyway on with the aspirations thread

My goals this year are:

finish my PT study (been dragging on too long by half!)

Stop smoking

Stop eating way too much (was doing great but then christmas happened..which has led to a rapid tightening of the jeans dammit!)

Stop saying yes to everyone and start focussing on whats really important to me

Move to Australia for work (know anyone who can help? :D )

Training Wise:

* Get strict on my diet and stay consistent all year regardless of injuries or work commitments.

* Stay motivated all year with training, regardless of injuries or work commitments.

* Drop below 12% BF and remain under that all year. No more "Im just bulking bro"

* Quads 28Inches+

* Arms 16Inches+ I know that is not big but my arms are rubbish at this point in time and if I can get there lean Id be happy.

*Increase the thickness in my back.

Life wise:

* Go to the full moon party in Thailand!!

Get the v shape really noticeable through my t shirts.

wear t shirts a couple of sizes too small will do it!

Listen 'er sonny, there are two types of people.

The ones who buy smaller shirts.

Or the ones who make their shirts look small. - I wanna be that guy.

Good to see another thread on this site has turned to shit.

Then add something of value instead of moaning

Explain what the point is of doing that if you have to read 2 pages of crap before reading something normal.

cos if you add something of value it might get things back on track.

As far as training goes, I need to get some focus and do less grazing. Im married with 3 kids, renovating the house and trying to get my car finished so I need to make the time I have at the gym more productive. I want to stick with the basic compound moves and firm up a programme. Also want to get my gammy wrist sorted so I can go back to boxing.

Andy.

I want to bench 500 lb raw. Time to put that one to bed as soon as possible and then move on to some big raw numbers in all 3 lifts.

I want to get to a bodyweight of 120 kg and be healthy (if that is possiblle at 5 foot 4).

I have a plan in place to improve my chest and my quads in particular. And the rest of my physique.
