Moving on...

For the older amongst us, did anyone see Kevin Judson in his Olympic Lifting days? I saw him competing as a powerlifter in the 1990s and he was very impressive. Holds several NZ records in the 82.5 kg class with a 310 squat and also the bench around 200 (no shirt), deadlift about 300.

I know he qualified to lift at the 1990 Comm Games but was injured.

I heard he also went on to do some bodybuilding after his powerlifting career.

 Fark those are some freaky numbers!! What was his physique like?

Not very tall and built like a farken tank. He was 40 when he broke those NZ records.

Damn, you guys keep proving age isn`t a factor when it comes to freaky feats of strength :pfft:

I'm sure your mother thought so!

Meant her physical stature, solid

Samoa and some of the other Island nations are sleeping giants in the world of sport in my view. Given the right level of funding, they could do some big things in the future. Tasele Margaret Iva Satupai who won the bronze in the shot put is another freak in the making.

Hoping to host Valerie Adams later this month at Eastside. I will get some footage if allowed.

repping that imagine what his 1 rm must be!

Pretty decent 1rm:

Get him doing some speed work and he will nail 660lbs! Nice bench

 Fark, I guess the Gregg Valentino concept doesn`t apply to him then :pfft:

Tonka: Surely you`ve hit some freaky lifts, both raw and equipped?
