Hey everyone.

Getting a head start on my new years resolution and finally going to make a decent effort at getting in shape. Started boxing (just as fitness training) for cardio as well as doing weights.

I know probabaly 2 million people write this very post every day but any and all advice would be awesome. I'm 110kg at the moment and 6ft so got a fair bit of fat to lose. I've done a bit of gym work in the past and am quite sporty so i'm not a complete tub of lard.

Welcome ditchnz, and good on you for making an early new year's resolution. Just make sure you keep at it - don't be one of the 2 million people who fall off the wagon sometime during January!

It sounds like you've got the right idea with cardio and weights. Are you checking your diet, too?
