Hey guys. I know this is banging on an old guitar string but would like your thoughts on this.

It would be very unfortunate if NZ gov deside to ban DMAA. The fact is that there is a shitload of pre workout and fatloss supps that contain this ingredient and it will most certainly in my mind have an effect on supplement companies in NZ as far as sales go.

As far as stimms go DMAA is the shit and thats why there are so many supps that contain it. This concern obviously does not effect people who do not use this type of supp.

The other thing is, is i feel unless DMAA gets banned in the US and other major countries the supplement manufacturers are just gonna go like fuckit we give up trying to satisfy other countries gov's like NZ and not produce something for us which will leave us with a rather large gap. Now i know i sound paranoid but this has to concern some of ya.

I realy hope the supplement gods has something to replace it with when the time comes. What about a petition? Now i know that sounds like crazy but i think we have to start doing something about this shit, realy. Just because some fucnut decided not to follow instructions on his party pill pack does not mean everyone else has to suffer the consequinces.

Anyway enough of my rambling. Your thoughts please ladies and gentlemen.

Hahaha sound a bit addicted mate. Supplement companies will always reformulate their products to meet government regulations as long as they are going to profit from it. Not to mention while preworkout supplements are popular they only make up a part of a supplement companies repertoire.

As far as caring about whether dmaa gets banned, for me personally I don't care at all. I didn't find it helped me out strength wise endurance wise or motivation wise. It's just a speedy buzz that made me feel anxious after the high wore off. No one needs stims to train and if you do that's not a good thing.

That said I do agree the government is full of shit and has no real ground to ban it on. If some moron decides to OD on herbal highs that's natural selection occuring isn't it? People drink themselves into comas on a daily basis why isn't alcohol being banned? I thought it was because adults are responsible for themselves. You can't just ban everything because a small percentage of the population are idiots that can't control themselves that doesn't make sense.

Theres some blame for he party pill manufacturers for not making the importance of hydration obviously visible. I've seen the pills and there is only a small type sentence, telling you to drink water.
