Beta Alanine vs Creatine.

Hello.

Can someone who has experience with using these give me a comparison between the two? Ive done a bit of googling and they sound simular in what they offer ie. increased energy, pump and intensity etc. Interested more in the lesser known Beta Alanine.

Creatine before Beta Alanine

Creatine is proven to work to a degree and its the most inexpensive supplement to employ, disregarding whey as a supp.

B-ALA9 in conjunction with creatine is the next step up, you get the increased ATP and carnosine levels with the buffering of lactic acid/fatigue. In short more strength more endurance. They are both synergistic with each other. Ive used both together and liked what it did as a power athlete, stuff like circuits were easier, pad work I could keep the power up, and weight room work would let me get out more reps. I also felt I could lift heavier on that first set too.

Ive heard creatine is good fro strength but my own observation is that it works for muscle endurance more than strength. Either ways you get a good amount of weights done.

However, lactic acid is a signal for growth and using B-ALA9 will reduce the growth signaling. A substance best cycled, or if you do sports to aid you through training.

I never really get a huge pump from creatine or B-ALA9, unless i do the higher rep stuff, in which case your gonna get a better pump anyway/ Glucose BCAAs are better for that.

If you want to try either one start with creatine then add the B-ALA9, use glucose or a carb based meal to load up. It takes about 3-6g of B-ALA9 a day to see the full benefits out of it.
