I don't farken care what the powder has in it I just want to know in peoples opinion what the best tasting protein is.

Good for you, Moona. For you, it's all about the taste. Personally I care more about the quality of the product rather than the taste.

So a good protein powder isn't allowed to taste decent? You can chug down your shitty tasting protein all day long, good for you. If i wanted to know about the quality of the protein the title of this topic would say

What is the best quality Whey protein? But it doesn't does it? Funny that

answer: YES - hit up some p.p sample sachets from supplement peeps. though if you are going to ask someone eg shotgun about getting some samples, probably best to refrain from your shitty attitude to peeps posting in your largely useless thread.

but good luck finding out what powder you will like without trying them! :lol:

I don't care about the price of protein, money isn't an issue

I have asked for samples from different companies including Hennie but getting opinions of others is never a bad thing now is it. Don't see why there are so many haters on these boards... I am asking a simple question that people want to take out of context.

I'm not trying to be rude or have a shitty attitude but how does your post or the guy before you even relate in the slightest instance to the topic I made?. I want opinions so I can narrow down options when asking for samples if you must no. So if you still feel this is a largely useless topic then great...but cut the spam please

Last time I looked this was the Diet/Nutrition section where I could ask any question I wanted about supplements. I don't need some half witted c*nt like yourself giving me a lecture over what I can and cannot post.

How does asking what protein people found nice have anything to do with me working for a supplement company? At no stage have I promoted any one brand or anything along those lines. Until then sit back and find something better to do with your time.

Guys, Moona is entitled to ask what's a good-tasting protein without being ridiculed for it. It's just as valuable as a review that says a certain brand tastes like crap. If the topic doesn't interest you, start a new one that does.

Aside from taste (which they're great), I'd stay away from myofusion, super quad and whey maxx cause they are massive serving sizes compared to protein per serving

When you factor in price per serving as well though I still think Super quad is a great deal.

Agree with Phedder. Do the sums, it's good value.

I'm with Doc on this one (after enduring Fonterra Alacen 450 for years before the good guys at http://www.bodybuilding.co.nz decided they'd hook me up with Nutra-Whey for free!).

The nicest tasting shake comes from the fish n chip shop (caramel with shit loads of thickener & ice cream in it!) followed closely by a McD's Chocolate shake! All have protein in but not comparable to a good quality whey supplement.

Function vs Flavour! (luckily Nutra-whey choc or vanilla has both! :grin: )

At the end of the day all the flavour in the world don't count if the nutritional value is ass.

This is painful, Myofusion is without a doubt the best tasting i have tryed and is one of the highest selling protein powders on the NZ market. Yet to find someone that buys it and doesnt agree, usually the next time i see them they are in to buy more. Thats not to say i buy it, i usually stick to a cheaper whey (but you didnt ask that) so there ya go

I reckon balance whey protein 'cookies n cream' is good.

I mix it with water and it goes down easy. A bit sweet for me but thats cos I've been on the natural whey with water buzz for awhile. Scored a bucket cheap so drinking this sweet ish for now. Heard its awesome with milk - haven't tried it as yet, cbf cos I scull my shakes once I mix em, not bothered bout taste - just want it down the hatch asap.

balance wpi 'tropical punch' is designed to be mixed with water so that its more like a 'raro' drink than a shake. Taste wise its pretty good if you don't mind a frothy raro drink. Haven't let the froth settle to see what its like.
