The cheapest one, any Monohydrate, preferably micronised but doesn't matter too much. I will say the Effervescent isn't actually that cheap, it's mostly carbs and sodium to 'help deliver the creatine' and you actually only get 50 serves for your 1kg tub, whereas a 1kg tub of just pure creatine would give you 200 servings. However you're not going to gain huge amounts of weight off creatine, and you only gain weight off it through storing more water. It is very useful towards training though, one of the few somewhat proven supplements.

Brands like Eatme, Shotgun, Nutralife, Optimum Nutrition, Inner Armour etc offer basic Creatine Mono in decent amounts for a decent price and are trusted brands. Basically pick which amount/price/label you like best because they'll all be 99.99% the same product.

Just added a bit to my previous post, but I've never had issues with skin flare ups on creatine and I'm 19 so I suppose if it was going to happen it'd happen now. However as with most things people react differently, only way to find out for yourself is to try it haha.

Look around on http://www.punchsupplements.co.nz/ http://www.bodybuilding.co.nz/

and http://www.shotgunsupplements.co.nz/

All trusted nz suppliers with good prices and free delivery. They all have tabs for Creatine so just click and browse your options.

Good stuff man, results come with good eating. 3kg is heaps!

I don't know if anyone on here has had really good results using creatine? I have found it to make no difference what so ever.

I think you would be better to by more food or protein powder with your extra $ man.

If you have unlimited funds then throw it in & see if it helps, not going to be any drastic changes there though man. Like for example if you you were to increase your calories by 500kcal a day you probably would get some changes pretty quick.

Bob makes a good point about diet being much more important than supplements. That's why they're called supplements, they support a good diet/training regime, don't expect them to replace one or the other.

But Creatine is one of the cheapest and potentially most effective supplements, you can get 3 months worth (500g at 5g servings a day) quite commonly for between $30-$40. That much isn't going to go very far on food over 3 months haha. I have read that some people don't have a specific receptor or enzyme (can't remember the details) that allows them to benefit from supplementing creatine, so for some it does have a nil affect.

Plenty of other topics on creatine, just use the search function and have a read. Probably a few discussions that you could learn from.

I beleive the percentage is 30% for people that dont get any effect from creatine.

Im using the Balance effervescent Creatine, it lasts for ages ive still got heaps left. It only cost me like 25 (30 at the most) bucks for a whole tub and free delivery off this site I use. Whereas the others cost like 120-150. Since your under 82kg all you need is one scoop.

It does the trick for me, im 17 and think it could be possibly flaring up my acne tho but the results are kinda worth it.
