Drugs at the common wealth games

The first drug bust at the commonwealth games so far. Apparently needles, syringes and vials were found at the Australian Institute of sport in an aussie's athlete's room.

Theres always going to be a drugs bust at every major games, I wonder who will be in trouble these games

thats disgraceful to hear. i still dont get why athletes would want to cheat to win, when its always gonna come back and bite them in the ass. People never learn! (and shame on the aussies too :pfft: serves'em right hehe)

You would probably also be disgraced to find out that, in actual fact, many professional athletes use performance enhancing drugs.

wel i do know that many athletes DO take drugs... but why would you do it at such events where it's illegal and there's been so many cases of cheaters being busted for it..... that is what i find it disgusting

people are kidding themselves if they think there will ever be a drug free professional sports meet!!!! Trust me on this. I would never name names, but I personally know 3 highly decorated kiwi athletes who are steroid, ephedrine, gh and blood doping offenders. Their body, their choice I guess
