I found this article about box squatting on elitefts.com.

Good article which highlights the lack of posterior chain development in some bodybuilders and suggests box squatting as a means to address this.

The lack of hamstring and lower back development in NZ bodybuilding circles obviously isn't unique. From my observations they seem to battle away with leg curls and hyperextensions.
