Protein Intake per lbs or kg of bodyweight

So i know this is a retarded thread but reading from some of the threads some people seem to be confused with wether to take protein as a per lbs or kg of bodyweight.

I would just like to see a general consensus regarding this matter. Me personaly i have been doing it as a lbs of bodyweight and find it realy hard to get almost 500g of protein in a day. thats almost 80g of protein per meal 6 meals a day. We all know that the body can only motabilize so much protein at at one time (it varies from person to person depending on weight and calorie needs)

Some of you might ask why 500g, well im a big boy. Plus my protein intake is worked out to be about 1.5g/lbs of bodyweight. My calorie needs just to maintain are close to 4800cals a day. Anyway i guess any answer would be good.

What is your Idea of protein intake, per pound or kg.?

Protein intake per kg; For standard training diet ...

1.8g female

2.2g Male (maxx)

.... variations dependant on splits if doing anabolic/ckd or proper keto as will substitute calories from carbs to portein. Even so the variance will be mild.

Only other time more than 2.2g is warranted is on cycle dieting as body can process more Prot.

By cycle diet you mean carb cycling? If you can process more protein while cycling then wouldn't you want to cycle 24/7?

Work it out based on lean body mass. Fat doesn't need protein to grow.

(Weight - (Weight x BF%)) x Protein Ratio

In my case:

(84kg - (84 x 0.13)) x 3 = 219gp/kg

i have just been looking at your journal i dont think you should be giving anyone advice.

I sorry your life turned out the way it did.
