Foam rollers

Head down to Mitre 10, get a foam pool noodle for $10 and cut to length. Put it in a vice to maintain straightness and stability and keeping your eyes level with the top of the foam skewer it with a long drill bore bit and then slide that sucker on your equipment.

I got one from obie.co.nz

Really expensive but it's really hard

I've got one of those too, bought it from EliteFitness for $100 though, and I see that site sells it for $80

Still, I wanted it then so what can ya do :pfft: Good roller, though.

foam rolling is like a new lease on life for squatting man.

buy the firmest one you can find, they eventually lose shape if you are usuing them as hard and as often as you should.

ive got a short one that fits in my gym bag, but ill soon be replacing it with a long one.

i bought a black one from fitnessworks in takapuna, only just starting to lose shape now - 8-9 months.

if you are a big tank mofo, they f*ck out quicker
