tuna shake for the brave

For intense training I had tuna shakes for about 6 months..

1/2 scoup protein powder

1 cup milk

2 egg whites

Flaxseed oil

1/2 can tuna

Blend and drink, an O/D on protein but I packed on the size..

Helps to hold your nose while drinking but damn good..

These tuna shakes of yours sound pretty grim but not as bad as a shake I remember reading about in a muscle magazine back in the 80s.

I don't quite recall which bodybuilder it was (may have been Roy Callender or Albert Beckles) but he claimed to make his protein shakes using protein powder, raw liver and raw eggs. Now that's dedication. :puke:

Raw liver? now thats the way to pick up some kind of disease real fast.

I have chucked a couple of eggs in the mix before and you cant really tell, but liver mmm I think not

I agree, seems like the liver will just ruin it.

just cant go wrong with the tuna shake, try it with v8 vegetable juice or OJ. man i must commend you on your recipe i can pretty much eat shit off the ground. but tuna and water still doesn't settle quite well. and damn raw liver man that shit is gonna give your digestive system a rough ride man if i do try it iam gonna get back to yas on that.

we used to do what we called a mega shake it had two scoops of prot powder a big can of creamed rice banana, cup of oats and 3 whole eggs mmmm mmmm calorie heaven for lunch!!

yeah ive made some of those before minus the eggs. it was nice as.
