Hi guys well finally the show is all done and dusted for the first time promoting the show we were pritty happy.

The support we had was great our sponsors really came on board and delivered on the day Garry and Wendy from athlete x our major sponsors big thankyou with there support along with underground muscle, musashi, bsc, every one left with a truckload of prizes and full stomach from subway and the odd bannana or two. from marshlands produce once again big thank you to all the sponsors.

Athletes were in great condition and there was a great atmosphere created by a great trunout of spectators.

so far the feedback has been great always a few things to work on ( I mean alot)but we know what they are which is the main thing.onwards from here.

A massive thank you to Dave Smith,Lisa,Missy Hawkins.Garry and Wendy Jones Leanne,Alex, head judge marree,Naera,Donny, greame and all the boys from oz.

On the downside we did (as thatwaslight mentioned) stuffed up music few times.

On that note

when you have 9 athletes that did nt bring music to registration and 4 athletes give you cds that have more than two songs on the disc makes our job bloody hard.

Afi gave us a cd with 9 tracks without telling us which track he wanted. what was played was the first track on his cd.which was nt what he wanted (the song he did was nt another athletes song)

So in the future we have to inforce that everyone has there single on cd at registration and that we will not except any cds on the day.

So that this dos nt happen again.

my appoligise to Hamish for loading the wrong song as a competitor myself theres nothing worse but weldone mate you handled it well and credit to you and your trainer you looked great.

Mark Anderson just a freak and will be very hard to beat in brazil or anywhere else he may compete in the world.

Lisa Bailey also in a league of her own great looked orsome will do very well in brazil.

Lee Lynch (weenerlad) mate for a guy who weighs 78 kgs at weigh in looked more like 85 kg onsatge always in great condition

Lesley Rothera was just class great condition look forward to talking with you soon regards to travel oversea and your intensions.

great glamour class Kellie ,Sarah , Bronya all looked amazing.

the Orton genetics were also on fine form with Kagan 17 years old just a freak and has a massive future in the sport if mum can keep up with feeding those two boys. :pfft: :pfft:

Thanks again to everyone who showed up athletes, spectators, sponsors, officails all in all a great show bring on Auckland and Nelson shows.

last of all massive thank you and appreciation to my beautiful wife Annette for putting up with me stressing. ps a did shout her couple pies after the show lol

(shit its alot easyer to compete)

cheers rich

What can I say, Richard and Rabbit (Annette) and Dave you are amazing!!!

As was all who you mentioned in the NABBA/WFF, this Federation.

We are so proud to be co-organisers and as a sponsor who will always back you.

Great work team and yes athletes...anyone competing in the Pan Pacific on August 28th at the Bruce Mason Centre, it is a prerequisite that we have all music on or before registration. As we cannot accept music on the day of the show, we are not using our own sound techs, we will be using BMC's and that is their requirement.

You all have 4 months to get your music to us which is ample notice.

If there are any more athletes wishing to stay at the accommodation we have organised for the Nationals on Oct 8th please let us know.

Flights are cheap this far in advance so book now, if you don't know whether you will be able to compete, it is still a great show/shows to attend.

Tickets available on ticketek from next week onward

Message for Weener Lad,

Mate I take my hat off to you, this was my first time competing and I've gotta say I was totally impressed with you both on stage and off, you're a fine competitor and genuinely good guy.

This was my first ever show and I've got the bug! The amosphere out back was totally different than what I was expecting, everybody was so helpful & friendly, and I was very impressed with how approachable you were Lee.

Now down to business, how'd you get so lean? & what are all your secrets?? LOL; Nah I was wondering if you could just give me a couple of tips on how you stay so lean, obviously nutrition & cardio are the main factors, but can you give me an average day in the life of Lee Lynch, what do you typically eat? How much cardio do you do weekly? Plus any other tips you may have. As I said this was my first show & I really want to compete again, my conditioning fell a little short this time but I'm aiming to stay as lean as possible between now & Sept.

I saw your pics on mybodyspace and you've made one hell of a transformation, so just thought I'd ask for some advice from the "Maestro", would really appreciate any tips you can give.

Thanks heaps in advance, Bartez

To keep it as simple as possible so I don't look like I'm ranting :pfft:

I try to keep as lean as I can in the off season (normally with in about 10% of my comp weight). I've found it easier to maintain this so when I diet for comp it's ust a matter of small food adjustments to make weight. Also I tend to feel better and train harder than I would if I did the old school off season bulk. Not knocking that technique it just doesn't work for me.

Food (general)

Meal 1: Oats with raisins and 50g Whey shake with water

Meal 2: Couscous and tuna with some sort of sauce

Meal 3: Kumara and 150g Chicken

Meal 4: 150g Chicken and an apple (or veg)

Meal 5: Large steak 200-250G with Veg

Meal 6: 50g Whey Shake with water

I only take in carbs pre and post workout so meal 2 & 3 may vary depending on when I train. I also have a 25g Whey post workout shake. I don't take a huge amount of supps ust Protein, BCAA powder, Kre Alk and when money permits I'll get some Gaspari Plasma Jet.

The food above stays the same all year round but in the off season I'll have 1 day a week off diet and generally have alcohol when ever I want it. Come diet time the cheat goes out as well as the booze and I generally tidy things up, no sauces ect.

I don't really do anything special with my training I figure as long as your killing your self it has to be working (says the man who still can't get good quads :pfft: ) I do like HIT training and FST-7 though so tend to stay with in the realms of that training.

Hope some of that helps and if you have any more questions feel free to ask me or post it up in the forums as most of the guys and girls here a full of good advice.

Awesome, that's great thanks weener lad, really appreciate you taking the time to pass on advice; have put a "Plan of attack" in place leading up to September show & it looks very similar to yours, so thanks for confirming to me that I'm on the right track!

Post show was a little rough on me to tell you the truth, I was really careful not to go crazy on the food afterwards, but still got a good dose of the bloating & swelling! But my "Cankles" are slowly normalising & have lost most of the fluid elsewhere; looked bloody awesome though, I felt like Arnie!! Will just have to manage my fluid & carbs a little better next time.

Learnt a huge amount from my first show & really looking forward to September, hopefully looking a little bigger & leaner!!

Thanks again Weener Lad, you're a top fella & I've got huge respect for what you've acheived.

Hey all, thought I would throw up some pics of the Glamor Girls (bikini) since there were alot of questions about what they are suppose to look like. Also pics of the lads doing the bench press and WFF Class 1 and 2.

Sorry if these end up to small, if they do I will fix up tomorrow.
