Pre Workout Drinks

Coffee. Its much cheaper and does basically the same job as an overhyped pre workout supp which is just full of caffiene anyway.

i would feel a big difference between coffee and jack3d, even a strong black coffee. thats just me.

I agree. But you have to weigh it up. Those drinks are expensive. I think you get diminishing returns over time from the likes of No-explode and jack3d. Mix it up and use the heavy stuff when you are doing legs or back?

yeah its like eca stack, u dont use everyday else or else (i believe) you build a tolerance for it and it doesnt do anything for you anymore (even tho some ppl say eca still works when used everyday, but im talking about the hit u feel off it). i would take the pre workout supplement on yeah legs day and back day, so twice every 6-7 days

taking twice per week is pretty economical too so wont cost u alot of money on regular basis

1-2 turbos and a 2 litres of procarb on the way through. 2 hours of support.

turbos are banned in competition so if your competing in drug tested sport these may not be suitable for you if tested on the day of comp.

Coffee is good but has to be strong and I usually scoff a banana with it

Thinking outloud, it's probably not too difficult to buy some ingredients and make your own pre-workout cocktail. Bit of brosearch on the inhunet?

dont buy super pump 250

waste of time

only 1 ive found effective is jacked. but yes as above... tolerance builds up quick. so dont have it all the time

i did make my own pre-wo ages ago. lasted a long time and cheap

creatine,argine,simple carb,caffeine,beta alinnine,bcaa's,eaa's, flavour if u need it....

good as u get mix ur own ratios, and leave out the caffeine if ur training late in the day or u can cycle the caffeinefor certain days or training needs.

Yeah thats more towards what I was getting at. Not that coffee is just as good, more that pre workout drinks are expensive and not really worth it imo. Rather spend my money on food.

I tried a custom blend of 2 parts Hydrogen, 1 part Oxygen, and found it work great. Super economical too. Got heaps here, I can sell you some if you like

That sounds like Dihydogren Monoxide to me! Stay away from that shit man, it's dangerous. Can burn you, and even kill you if inhaled.

What flavour?

That's one of the best parts bro, there are so many wonderful flavours to choose from. It's just so adaptable.

Get some DMAA caps if you need the focus. My opinion of pre workouts is that its the stims that you judge it on. DMAA and caffiene, the more thats in them the more your like OMG wow mean superroidfuel. Jack3d vs Assault, people favour jack3d easy.

I use a stim on something like a leg day or when I know ill be doing heavy and hard movements like deads, or thai circuits etc, and then use a NO (AAKG+EAAs) products on a higher rep more isolated workout like arm day, chest shoulders.

You wanna cycle products with beta alanine in it too. Apparently the reduced lactic acid build up means less repair. Lactic acid = signal for releasing growth factor http://www.csmngt.com/lactic_acid.htm

But it may help you get past a plateau

For the most part the big blends are fkn expensive, and to look at it holistically its not giving you that much lasting benefit. Get creatine and some bc eaa product, suprising how much of a pump just xtend alone will give. Repair supplements > stims and pump supps. As for stims, Mind over matter. Amp yourself up. DMAA is a toy if you wanna spend some cash.

oh yeah how about that hemo rage stuff by nutrex?

Hey mate just read ur posts

been running hemo rage for about 2 weeks...must say it is definatly the best pre workout drink i have tried. Tastes great, mixes easy, insane energy and focus and an amazing pump. also my strength was up from my first workout. I have tried most of the pre workouts...no xplode (the old one) superpump250, jack3d etc but hemo rage is by far the best. I got mine from http://www.pumpednutrition.co.nz....they are a new site, they are cheap plus free delievery and they gave me superquad and myofusion samples so i was happy!

hope this helps you
